The results from the invitational are listed <a href=\"https:\/\/fl.milesplit.com\/meets\/428233-tohopekaliga-tiger-invitational-2022\/results\/794204#.YkW8TS9h1QJ\">here<\/a>.<\/p>\n[embedded content]\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">How a high school track meet in Florida turns out. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/h9TOBGWBwM\">pic.twitter.com\/h9TOBGWBwM<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Spider Hoof (@spider_hoof) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/spider_hoof\/status\/1509300468710735877?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">March 30, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/dailywire.com\/news\/i-dont-want-women-to-feel-the-way-that-i-did-female-track-athlete-forced-to-compete-against-biological-male-speaks-out\/\">In other recent news<\/a> from the world of track and field, Linnea Saltz, who\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.iwf.org\/save-womens-sports-linnea-saltz\/\">won<\/a>\u00a0the 800 meter track race in the Big Sky Conference Outdoor Championship in 2019 and competed against a biologically male track runner in college, joined protestors from the \u201cSave Women\u2019s Sports\u201d organization as they slammed men participating in women\u2019s sports outside the\u00a0NCAA Division I Championship meet in Atlanta, Georgia.<\/p>\n<p>Recalling her senior year of college, when she had to compete against a biologically male athlete who formerly ran on the University of Montana men\u2019s track team, she said, \u201cI just thought to myself, \u2018Well, I\u2019m so excited to go and defend my title again, but am I not going to have that opportunity anymore?\u00a0Because now a man who has competed and run ten seconds faster than me in the eight hundred, I\u2019m now going to have to defend my title against somebody that already possesses this physiological biological advantage over me?\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was just really disappointing, and it was hard for me to understand why the NCAA would allow something like that to happen,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<p>Saltz added, \u201cThat\u2019s why I come out to things like this is because I don\u2019t want women to feel the way that I did. I don\u2019t want women to feel the way that my teammates did. It\u2019s a disservice honestly to all women in sports.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Saltz said she told the female swimmers at the NCAA event, \u201cI know that I may not be an athlete now, but I did come out and advocate for this issue then, and people are just as hateful to me now as they were back then. It\u2019s never going to be different.
