Jane\u201d movie, referring to her bald head.<\/p>\n<p>The mild joke apparently triggered Smith, who walked up on stage and slapped Rock across the face and then yelled at the superstar comedian to keep his wife\u2019s name out of his \u201cf***ing mouth.\u201d A stunned Rock quickly transitioned back to the show.<\/p>\n<p>Jada has recently talked about having alopecia and her loving her \u201cbald head.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In fact, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/watch-i-dont-give-two-craps-what-people-feel-about-this-bald-head-of-mine-i-love-it-jada-pinkett-smith-days-before-the-oscars\">The Daily Wire<\/a> highlighted that Jada, just one week before the Oscars,\u00a0\u201cstated in a TikTok video that she loved her bald head and didn\u2019t care what people thought, asserting, \u2018I don\u2019t give two craps what people feel about this bald head of mine.\u00a0Because guess what? I love it.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBeing a black woman and dealing with hair in Hollywood, especially in the era I came up in, having your hair look as European as possible was always the thing,\u201d the actress continued. \u201cThat was really challenging, you know, because I liked my hair out wild and curly. But nobody wanted that, so I always had to do my hair in ways that didn\u2019t feel natural to me because of trying to play the game.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Smith finally apologized for his actions on Monday evening.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cViolence in all of its forms is poisonous and destructive,\u201d the actor wrote. \u201cMy behavior at last night\u2019s Academy Awards was unacceptable and inexcusable. Jokes at my expense are a part of the job, but a joke about my Jada\u2019s medical condition was too much for me to bear and I reacted emotionally.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI would like to publicly apologize to you, Chris,\u201d Smith added. \u201cI was out of line and I was wrong. I am embarrassed and my actions were not indicative of the man I want to be.
