Have you never heard of TIVO?? We sacrificed to get to go to this concert,\u201d one Facebook user said. \u201cYou have hurt my wife. After all the shows canceled due to COVID, the world opens back up and you make this extremely selfish move. I am sick tou [sic]\u00a0 stomach. You have lost fans permanently.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cHe decided the basketball game was more important,\u201d another user added.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Saturday night will be the 258th time that Duke and North Carolina play, but the first time they\u2019ve ever matched up in the NCAA tournament. North Carolina, an 8-seed in the tournament, made their way to New Orleans after defeating Marquette, Baylor, UCLA, and Saint Peter\u2019s. The Tar Heels will play in the Final Four in head coach\u2019s Hubert Davis\u2019 first year at the helm, one year after the retirement of legendary coach Roy Williams.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cI haven\u2019t thought about it at all,\u201d Davis <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.espn.com\/mens-college-basketball\/story\/_\/id\/33611202\/north-carolina-cruises-men-basketball-final-four-concludes-storybook-season-st-peters\"><span>said<\/span><\/a><span> of Duke. \u201cThe only thing on my mind is celebrating with the rest of the players on what just happened today. Next week will be next week. And we\u2019ll deal with that next week. But right now I don\u2019t want to think about next week and lose the moment of today.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The game has even more meaning, as North Carolina could end the career of legendary head coach Mike Krzyzewski, who will be retiring after the season.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Krzyzewski, who turned 75 in February, has won five national titles at Duke and led the U.S. men\u2019s basketball team to three olympic gold medals. His 1,202 victories make him the winningest Division I coach in men\u2019s college basketball history. Coach K has spent 42 of his 47 years coaching at Duke, building the program into the blue-blood it is today.
