Our new baby is a very bright spot in our lives. A blessing and a gift during such uncertain times. I\u2019ve missed you during my break from social media\u2026I\u2019m back and looking forward to continuing with you this wild journey that we call \u2018life.\u2019 Our love to you and your loved ones.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Alec, 63, also shared the news on his <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CbsoC0RJSZo\/\"><span>Instagram<\/span><\/a><span> Tuesday. He posted a photo of one of his kids eating in a high chair and captioned the post, \u201cIf you look at the spaghetti sauce carefully, it says \u2018I\u2019m getting another sibling.&#8217;\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The pregnancy announcement comes just after a rough time for the Baldwins. In October, Alec was involved in a fatal shooting on the set of the movie \u201cRust.\u201d The actor was holding a prop gun which allegedly misfired, killing cinematographer Halyna Hutchins and injuring director Joel Souza. The actor said in January he\u2019s complying with authorities during the ongoing investigation. He also said the incident was not his fault.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The Baldwins share daughters Mar\u00eda Luc\u00eda Victoria, 13 months; and Carmen Gabriela, 8; and sons Rafael Thomas, 6; Leonardo \u00c1ngel Charles, 5; Romeo Alejandro David, 3; and Eduardo \u201cEdu\u201d Pao Lucas, 18 months; according to <a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/parents\/hilaria-baldwin-pregnant-expecting-seventh-baby-with-husband-alec-baldwin\/\">People<\/a>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Alec is also the father of 26-year-old Ireland Baldwin; Ireland was born to him and his ex-wife Kim Basinger.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Hilaria experienced two miscarriages in 2019. She expressed her feelings about it in an <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CS5CS3wHSel\/\"><span>Instagram<\/span><\/a><span> post in August 2021.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cWhen I lost my babies in 2019, I will always remember thinking my tears would never stop. I will always be sad, they still flow from time to time, and I hold this sadness written permanently in the pages of my life\u2019s book,\u201d she wrote. \u201cI also welcome and rejoice in my two rainbow babies, feeling that I am such a lucky mama.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cWe open and heal out loud not only for ourselves, but to let our sisters know that they are not alone,\u201d she continued. \u201cMy mantra was: I\u2019m not ok, but I want to be ok.
