A Twitter account belonging to the Augusta-based aerial photography company Eureka Earth posted video of a plane with the logo of Woods\u2019 TGR Foundation on the tail landing at Augusta\u2019s airport, as well.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>If Woods does actually play, it would be his first start since a spectacular car crash in February 2021 that nearly led to the famous golfer having his leg amputated. Woods underwent numerous surgeries to repair his legs, and he played with son Charlie in a father-son tournament in December.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou will see me on the PGA TOUR, I just don\u2019t know when,\u201d Woods told CBS\u2019 Jim Nantz on the telecast of last month\u2019s The Genesis Invitational, according to the PGA Tour.<\/p>\n<p>But Woods has warned that it\u2019s one thing to ride in a golf course and play \u2014 as he did with his son \u2014 and entirely another to walk a golf course over 72 holes. Especially Augusta National.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEven the harshest critic would be hard-pressed to call a round at Augusta National \u2018a good walk spoiled,\u2019 but the truth is, a round at the home of the Masters is definitely a good walk\u2014a good, long walk,\u201d Golf.com reported in 2019. \u201cIf you\u2019ve only ever seen the course on TV, it\u2019s almost impossible to imagine just how hilly and undulating (and we\u2019re not talking about the greens here) the terrain can be.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cCombine that with four consecutive days of tough, pressure-packed golf, and it\u2019s easy to see why\u2014at least as far as aerobic exercise is concerned\u2014the Masters is a \u2018tradition unlike any other.\u2019 It also highlights just how impressive a Masters win is for players like Jack Nicklaus, Gary Player, Sam Snead, Mark O\u2019Meara and Ben Hogan, all of whom won the tournament in their golf-rickety forties,\u201d the site said.<\/p>\n<p>Hogan famously came back from a devastating car crash, winning the Masters twice after suffering a double-fracture of the pelvis, along with fractures to his collar bone and left ankle.<\/p>\n<p><em>Joseph Curl has covered politics for 35 years, including 12 years as White House correspondent, and ran the Drudge Report from 2010 to 2015.
