We tried to interview people in nearby villages \u2026 but there were obstacles at every turn.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>Hebei-based journalist Huang Tao: \u201cThis must be to prevent information from leaking out. \u2026 There is probably a lot of evidence at the scene indicating something that they don\u2019t want reporters to find out about. \u2026 You can tell which reports are true by looking at what they are deleting. [So] the reports that the airline didn\u2019t maintain [the aircraft] properly to save money \u2026 may be true; it\u2019s looking more and more likely that it has to do with maintenance.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u201cChina\u2019s powerful Cyberspace Administration said on March 26 that it has deleted more than 279,000 posts containing \u2018illegal content\u2019 relating to the crash, including 167,000 rumors and 1,295 hashtags,\u201d the report continued. \u201cIt said it had also shut down 2,713 social media accounts.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Rescuers recovered the black boxes to the aircraft last week, although they have yet to disclose any information about what is contained on the devices.<\/p>\n<p>Flightradar24\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/video-shows-dramatic-moment-boeing-737-takes-vertical-plunge-into-mountain-range\">released<\/a> data from the day of the flight that showed the aircraft was cruising at just over 29,000 feet when it then plunged more than 20,000 feet in less than a minute before later slamming into the mountains of southern China.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Boeing 737-800 was knifing through the air at more than 640 miles (966 kilometers) per hour, and at times may have exceeded 700 mph,\u201d Bloomberg News\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2022-03-22\/china-jet-s-fatal-dive-took-it-near-speed-of-sound-before-crash\">reported<\/a>. \u201cSound travels at 761 mph at sea level but slows with altitude as air temperature goes down and is about 663 mph at 35,000 feet.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Air Current\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/theaircurrent.com\/aviation-safety\/china-eastern-5735s-sudden-sharp-dive-put-in-context\/\">noted<\/a>\u00a0that the fact that Flightradar24 was able to collect data from the flight as it rapidly plunged toward the ground means \u201cthe aircraft had electrical power and was able to broadcast tracking telemetry.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt really catches your eye when you see how rapidly the aircraft went from this horizontal flight,\u201d Mike Daniel, a former Federal Aviation Administration accident investigator, said. \u201cOn any given investigation, you can\u2019t rule out foul play at the very beginning,\u201d he said. \u201cIt was so abrupt that everything needs to be looked at.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Australian aviation expert Neil Hansford\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/human-induced-event-experts-reveal-horrifying-likely-causes-of-boeing-737-that-plunged-into-ground\">said<\/a>\u00a0that he does not believe that the plane crashed due to any kind of technical issue.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEven with total loss of power, no aircraft plummets to the ground from 20,000 feet in two minutes with an event at 8,000 feet,\u201d Hansford said. \u201cI think aircraft technical failure can be ruled out and it will be an external event \u2026 I would get on a Boeing 737-800 in an instant with an Australian carrier, so my suggestion would be it won\u2019t be Boeing or aircraft technical related.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt is very unlikely the pilot passed out as the non-flying pilot would have been able to very safely take over the flying and land the aircraft,\u201d he continued. \u201cLikely scenarios include pilot suicide, aircraft mid-air collision with military aircraft (they don\u2019t have transponders like civil aircraft), [flight MU5735] was struck by a missile or an on-board explosion. My tipping is a human-induced event or bought down by rogue missile.
