{"id":1406112,"date":"2022-03-29T00:30:10","date_gmt":"2022-03-29T04:30:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/?p=1406112"},"modified":"2022-03-29T00:30:12","modified_gmt":"2022-03-29T04:30:12","slug":"joe-bidens-budget-asks-for-extra-12-billion-to-welcome-more-migrants","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/joe-bidens-budget-asks-for-extra-12-billion-to-welcome-more-migrants\/","title":{"rendered":"Joe Biden&#039;s Budget Asks for Extra $12 Billion to Welcome More Migrants"},"content":{"rendered":"<aside class=\"mashsb-container mashsb-main mashsb-stretched\"><div class=\"mashsb-box\"><div class=\"mashsb-count mash-medium\" style=\"&quot;\"><div class=\"counts mashsbcount\">24<\/div><span class=\"mashsb-sharetext\">SHARES<\/span><\/div><div class=\"mashsb-buttons\"><a class=\"mashicon-facebook mash-medium mash-nomargin mashsb-noshadow\" href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/sharer.php?u=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.conservativenewsdaily.net%2Fbreaking-news%2Fjoe-bidens-budget-asks-for-extra-12-billion-to-welcome-more-migrants%2F\" target=\"_top\" rel=\"nofollow\"><span class=\"icon\"><\/span><span class=\"text\">Facebook<\/span><\/a><a class=\"mashicon-twitter mash-medium mash-nomargin mashsb-noshadow\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/intent\/tweet?text=&amp;url=https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/?p=1406112&amp;via=ConservNewsDly\" target=\"_top\" rel=\"nofollow\"><span class=\"icon\"><\/span><span class=\"text\">Twitter<\/span><\/a><a class=\"mashicon-subscribe mash-medium mash-nomargin mashsb-noshadow\" href=\"#\" target=\"_top\" rel=\"nofollow\"><span class=\"icon\"><\/span><span class=\"text\">Subscribe<\/span><\/a><div class=\"onoffswitch2 mash-medium mashsb-noshadow\" style=\"display:none\"><\/div><\/div>\n            <\/div>\n                <div style=\"clear:both\"><\/div><\/aside>\n            <!-- Share buttons by mashshare.net - Version: 4.0.47--><p class=\"subheading\">President Joe Biden\u2019s budget request asks Congress for at least $12 billion extra to accelerate the inflow of economic migrants into Americans\u2019 jobs and homes but minimizes the requests for anti-drug efforts, border enforcement, and deportations.<\/p>\n<p>The budget request \u201ccompletely flips the script\u201d for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), said Robert Law, a former DHS official who now works at the Center for Immigration Studies.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>Instead of excluding economic migrants, as required by federal law, the agency is telling would-be migrants that \u201cWe are funding ways to bring you in and ensure that you never leave, even if there\u2019s no actual immigration status that you\u2019re qualified for,\u201d he told Breitbart News.<\/p>\n<p>Republicans in Congress should reject the request, he added.<\/p>\n<p>Amid the agency\u2019s welcome for a record flow of at least 1 million economic migrants in 2021, the administration does not ask for money to complete the border wall.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>The White House does not ask Congress for funds to launch a crash program to block drug smuggling, restart the deportation of illegal migrants, compensate Americans for illegal migrants\u2019 crimes, investigate fraud in work-visa programs, reinforce the stretched border agents, or deploy the underused immigration-enforcement agents.<\/p>\n<p>Illegal drugs killed roughly 100,000 Americans in 2021.<\/p>\n<p>Instead, DHS Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas \u2013 a Cuban-born progressive and pro-migration zealot \u2013 touted various pro-migration, pro-migrant, pro-employer priorities in <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dhs.gov\/news\/2022\/03\/28\/statement-secretary-mayorkas-presidents-fiscal-year-2023-budget#:~:text=The%20President%27s%20Fiscal%20Year%202023%20Budget%20for%20the,billion%20from%20the%20Fiscal%20Year%202022%20President%E2%80%99s%20Budget.\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">a press release<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p>The Budget includes $375 million to support operationalizing this important [<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2022\/03\/24\/dhs-alejandro-mayorkas-builds-escalator-for-asylum-migrants\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">draft fast-track asylum<\/a>] rule, so that those who are eligible for asylum are granted relief quickly, and those who are not are promptly removed.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Mayorkas drafted the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2022\/03\/24\/dhs-alejandro-mayorkas-builds-escalator-for-asylum-migrants\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">fast-track asylum rule<\/a>\u00a0to let pro-migrant officials award asylum and citizenship to many economic migrants instead of the decision being made by judges. (MANDEL NGAN\/AFP via Getty Images)<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>The White House\u2019s <a href=\"https:\/\/www.whitehouse.gov\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/budget_fy2023.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">summary of the budget<\/a> also touted a request for $765 million to accelerate the award of legal status to migrants and contract workers. The money will help \u201cefficiently process increasing asylum caseloads; address the backlog of applications for work authorization, naturalization, adjustment of status, and other immigration benefits; and improve refugee processing,\u201d the summary said.<\/p>\n<p>Overall, the White House is asking for\u00a0$97.3 billion, an increase of $6.5 billion, for the wide-ranging agency for Fiscal Year 2023. The agency is responsible for an emergency response to disasters, border security, the defense of computer networks, migration processing, the U.S. Coast Guard, the Secret Service, and much else.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>Outside the DHS, the Biden budget also asks for \u201c$6.3\u00a0billion to the Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) to help rebuild the Nation\u2019s refugee resettlement infrastructure and support the resettling of up to 125,000 refugees in 2023,\u201d plus\u00a0$621\u00a0million extra to speech the Department of Justice\u2019s approval of economic migrants.<\/p>\n<p>It also asks for \u201c$150 million in discretionary resources to provide access to [lawyers for illegal migrant] ]adults and families \u2026 [and pushes] a proposal for $4.5\u00a0billion in mandatory resources to expand these efforts over a 10-year period.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>However, Mayorkas did ask for 300 extra border agents.\u00a0 The extra agents would provide roughly one extra agent per shift for every 21 miles of the southern border.\u00a0Officials are not worried that extra border agents will cost too much.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B4\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>In fact, the budget wants Congress to spend at least another $8.5 billion on Mayorkas\u2019 priorities that have nothing to do with the border.\u00a0 He is asking for $3.5 billion to fund \u201cclimate resilience and adaptation programs\u201d at DHS, $2.6 billion extra for disaster relief, $564 million extra for the Coast Guard, $486 million extra for computer-network defense,\u00a0$1.6 billion extra in pay for employees of the Transportation Security Administration \u2014 but just \u201c$309 million in modern border security technology,\u201d such as X-Ray-style machines to detect hidden drugs in vehicles.<\/p>\n<p>Since at least 1990, the D.C. establishment has used a wide variety of excuses and explanations \u2014 for example, \u201cNation of Immigrants\u201d \u2014 to justify its policy of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/tag\/extraction-migration\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">extracting<\/a>\u00a0tens of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/immigration\/2022\/02\/23\/report-u-s-immigrant-population-hits-record-46-6-million\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">millions<\/a>\u00a0of migrants\u00a0and\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2022\/02\/24\/bidens-border-agency-worries-about-tinder-swindler-amid-migration-fraud\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">visa workers<\/a>\u00a0from poor countries to serve as workers, consumers, and renters for various U.S. investors and CEOs.<\/p>\n<p>The self-serving\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/immigration\/2021\/12\/20\/washington-post-low-wage-employers-struggle-after-cheap-labor-bubble\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">economic<\/a>\u00a0strategy of extraction migration has\u00a0no <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2021\/11\/20\/gop-donors-economist-immigration-can-offset-foreign-trade-risks\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">stopping<\/a> point. It is harmful to ordinary Americans because it cuts their <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/immigration\/2021\/03\/12\/bloomberg-opts-h1bs-take-two-three-new-tech-jobs-each-year\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">career<\/a> opportunities, shrinks their\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2021\/04\/08\/elite-academics-hide-amnesty-wage-pain-americans\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">salaries and wages<\/a>, raises their\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/06\/16\/new-yorks-mayoral-rivals-vow-cheap-housing-plus-more-migrants\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">housing<\/a>\u00a0costs, and has shoved at least <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2022\/03\/15\/d-c-s-economic-policy-sidelines-almost-20-million-american-men\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">10 million American men<\/a>\u00a0out of the labor force.<\/p>\n<p>Extraction migration also curbs Americans\u2019\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2020\/07\/11\/president-trump-wins-big-on-secret-meatpacking-robots\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">productivity<\/a>, reduces their political\u00a0<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/search?q=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.breitbart.com+%22john+binder%22+%22demographic+change%22&#038;rlz=1C5CHFA_enUS946US946&#038;oq=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.breitbart.com+%22john+binder%22+%22demographic+change%22&#038;aqs=chrome..69i57j69i58.10228j0j4&#038;sourceid=chrome&#038;ie=UTF-8\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">clout<\/a>, undermines U.S. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2022\/03\/04\/joe-biden-delivers-flood-of-cheap-migrant-labor-to-new-york\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">workplace<\/a>\u00a0rights, and widens the regional wealth\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/08\/13\/zuckerbergs-data-says-amnesty-gives-economic-windfall-coastal-democratic-states\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">gaps<\/a>\u00a0between the Democrats\u2019 coastal states and the Republicans\u2019 <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2022\/01\/10\/former-steeltown-seeks-afghans-to-replace-americans\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Heartland<\/a>\u00a0states.<\/p>\n<p>An economy built on extraction migration also\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/11\/01\/survey-elite-imposed-migration-is-transforming-national-politics\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">radicalizes<\/a>\u00a0Americans\u2019 democratic, compromise-promoting civic <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/search\/?s=%22white+supremacy%22#gsc.tab=0&#038;gsc.q=%22white%20supremacy%22&#038;gsc.page=1\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">culture<\/a> because it allows wealthy elites to ignore\u00a0<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Diseases_of_despair\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">despairing<\/a>\u00a0Americans\u00a0at the\u00a0<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JorgeAl49986803\/status\/1439791277571145737?s=20\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">bottom<\/a>\u00a0of society.<\/p>\n<p>The economic strategy also\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2022\/02\/01\/dhs-mayorkas-welcomes-illegal-migrant-survivor-boat-disaster\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">kills<\/a>\u00a0many migrants,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/immigration\/2021\/04\/13\/joe-bidens-half-open-border-splits-tens-of-thousands-of-families\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">splits<\/a>\u00a0foreign families, and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2021\/01\/10\/critics-joe-biden-is-restarting-hunger-games-migration-policy\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">extracts<\/a> wealth from\u00a0the poor home countries.<\/p>\n<p>Not surprisingly, the wealth-shifting extraction migration policy is very unpopular, according to\u00a0a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2020\/03\/30\/harvard-harris-poll-5-in-6-americans-want-to-end-immigration-from-mexico\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">wide<\/a>\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/immigration\/2021\/01\/14\/poll-americans-want-companies-hire-americans-before-migrants\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">variety<\/a>\u00a0of\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2020\/04\/13\/ipsos-poll-nearly-8-in-10-americans-want-immigration-moratorium-for-u-s\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">polls<\/a>.
