The original picture shows Trudeau wearing socks with ducks on them.<\/p>\n<p><span><strong>Fact Check:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>The Facebook image appears to show Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau wearing a pair of blue socks with pictures of male genitalia on them. \u201cIf the socks fit\u2026.\u201d the post\u2019s caption claims.<\/p>\n<p>The image has been photoshopped, however. A reverse image search revealed the picture was taken by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.apimages.com\/metadata\/Index\/Trudeau-Davos\/eb72587536f74025a59b7d55e28a2916\/196\/0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Canadian Press<\/a> photographer Paul Chiasson at the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, Switzerland, in January 2018. The original photo shows Trudeau sitting next to education activist and Nobel Peace Prize recipient <a href=\"https:\/\/www.independent.ie\/world-news\/and-finally\/justin-trudeaus-sock-game-was-stronger-than-ever-at-davos-36534608.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Malala Yousafzai<\/a>, wearing a pair of dark purple socks with yellow ducks depicted on them.<\/p>\n<p>Other pictures of the socks can be found on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gettyimages.com\/photos\/justin-trudeau-world-economic-forum?assettype=image&#038;editorialproducts=news&#038;agreements=ed%3A7788%2Cpa%3A114372&#038;family=editorial&#038;phrase=justin%20trudeau%20world%20economic%20forum&#038;sort=best&#038;recency=daterange&#038;begindate=2018-01-01&#038;enddate=2018-02-01\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Getty Images,<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.huffpost.com\/entry\/justin-trudeau-rubber-duck-socks-davos_n_5a6a0d25e4b06e2532657f3c\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">HuffPost<\/a>\u00a0and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.independent.ie\/world-news\/and-finally\/justin-trudeaus-sock-game-was-stronger-than-ever-at-davos-36534608.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">the Irish Independent<\/a>. A <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=5ErrQWp_xh0\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">video<\/a> of the panel discussion, which focused on women\u2019s empowerment and education, was shared on YouTube by Global News and shows Trudeau wearing the duck socks.<\/p>\n<p>Two days prior, Trudeau <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gettyimages.com\/detail\/news-photo\/canadian-prime-minister-justin-trudeaus-polka-dot-socks-are-news-photo\/909277198?adppopup=true\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">appeared<\/a> at the WEF in a pair of bright blue polka dot socks.
