Posting on Twitter Saturday, Haass said Biden has \u201cmade a difficult situation more difficult and a dangerous situation more dangerous.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cThat is obvious,\u201d he continued. \u201cLess obvious is how to undo the damage, but I suggest his chief aides reach their counterparts &#038; make clear US prepared to deal with this Russian govt.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"c-message_actions__group\">\n<p class=\"Paragraph-sc-u5wzz1-0 dOUYsl\">Former CIA Director David Petraeus\u00a0also told ABC News on Sunday that Biden\u2019s comments will cause challenges down the road for the administration and perhaps NATO.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"attachment_17519274\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/media.breitbart.com\/media\/2021\/08\/AP_18292328491959.png\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\">Former CIA director retired Gen. It is also the latest example of his penchant for going off script, overshadowing his intended message and prompting White House aides to clarify his words.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"Paragraph-sc-u5wzz1-0 dOUYsl\">Biden\u2019s potential emboldening of Putin comes as Americans greatly oppose how the American president is handling the Ukraine war.<\/p>\n<p class=\"Paragraph-sc-u5wzz1-0 dOUYsl\">Only 12 percent of Americans have \u201ca great deal of confidence\u201d in Biden\u2019s ability to deescalate the war, a Sunday NBC News poll <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/national-security\/2022\/03\/27\/poll-12-percent-great-trust-biden-ukraine-war\/\">revealed<\/a>.
