Mere hours later, the tweet garnered a stunning 740,000 likes. The tweet came after Smith\u2019s altercation with Rock and best actor win.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"500\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">And That\u2019s How We Do It<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Jaden (@jaden) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/jaden\/status\/1508295733551632389?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">March 28, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Smith slapped an unsuspecting Rock while he was on stage at the Oscars over a mild crack about Smith\u2019s wife, actress Jada Pinkett Smith. Daily Wire entrainment writer <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/will-smith-struck-chris-rock-in-the-face-at-oscars-after-he-cracked-a-joke-about-jada-pinkett-smiths-hair-loss\">Katie Jerkovich<\/a> reported on the incident:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><em>\u201cJada, I love ya,\u201d Rock told the audience. \u201cG.I. Jane 2 movie, can\u2019t wait to see it.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The \u201cRed Table Talk\u201d host rolled her eyes and appeared to be upset.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>Her husband, the \u201cKing Richard\u201d star, looked like he too did not appreciate what appeared to be a remark about his wife\u2019s alopecia battle.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The superstar actor got up out of his seat, walked right up on stage, and struck the comedian in the face. It didn\u2019t appear to be a planned move.<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>\u201cWill Smith just smacked the s*** outta me,\u201d Rock told the audience after the assault.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cKeep my wife\u2019s name out your f***ing mouth!\u201d Smith yelled back at Rock, overcome with emotion.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWow, dude. It was a G.I. Jane joke,\u201d the comedian said, before turning back to the award show.<\/p>\n<p>Smith sparked reaction online following the assault, and not just from his son Jaden. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/will-smith-slapping-chris-rock-at-oscars-sparks-reaction-online-his-marriage-is-open-to-everything-except-jokes\">The Daily Wire<\/a> highlighted some of the reaction, which including rips on Smith for his \u201cprivilege\u201d and commentary on Will and Jada\u2019s notoriously open marriage.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cPretty sure that any normal human being who walked on stage during an awards show and slapped a man in the face in front of thousands of people would be in handcuffs within 15 seconds of the assault,\u201d Daily Wire podcast host and author Matt Walsh wrote.<\/p>\n<p>C.J. Pearson reacted,\u00a0\u201cWill Smith\u2019s marriage is open to EVERYTHING except jokes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Jaden has made news in the past for apparently engaging in Left-wing gender theory. He\u00a0has posed in so-called <a href=\"http:\/\/www.thewrap.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/02\/jaden_newnormal.jpg\">non-gender specific skirts<\/a> for high-fashion modeling agencies, for example.<\/p>\n<p>In an interview with Teen Vogue in 2016, sister Willow Smith, then 15, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.teenvogue.com\/story\/willow-smith-interview-teen-vogue-may-2016\">discussed<\/a> her symbiotic relationship with her bother Jaden.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re like binary stars, like two parts of one thing,\u201d she said. \u201cI know what he\u2019s thinking at all times. And he knows what I\u2019m thinking.
