All three of my kids absolutely love her.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAbsolutely the best.. to drive a bus in the snow around here is certainly a challenge! Her little girl passed away following a battle with bone cancer.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u201cThey take away that hurt from my daughter,\u201d Kenner explained of the elementary students she drives.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">She had been saving to visit a friend who retired to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.gohawaii.com\">Hawaii<\/a>, but Kenner\u2019s husband died from the coronavirus and when mounting bills and funeral costs burned through her savings, she canceled her plans.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">However, fellow bus driver Joan Cooper heard what happened and immediately knew it was up to her to remedy the situation, so she created the fundraiser to purchase her friend\u2019s airfare.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">As of Saturday afternoon, Cooper\u2019s GoFundMe page had raised $2,685 of its $1,000 goal.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">\u201cI\u2019m just overwhelmed because all these people just love me,\u201d Kenner commented.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">In an update on March 18, Cooper said \u201cMs Shreevie send a huge Thank You to all who so generously donated to her Hawaii trip,\u201d adding she could not believe she would be on her way very soon.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">A video shared on the page <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=PFe425CWBpk&#038;t=1s\">showed<\/a> the bus driver wearing a Hawaiian shirt and blowing a kiss to everyone:<\/p>\n[embedded content]\n<p class=\"text | article-text\">According to KKTV, her long-awaited vacation is scheduled for June.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>For many years, a woman named Shreevie Kenner in Evergreen, Colorado, has made it her mission to entertain children riding her bus with costumes and gifts.
