and &#8220;extraordinary.&#8221; <\/p>\n<div class=\"Enhancement\">\n<div class=\"Enhancement-item\"><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p>In a Wednesday statement, Planned Parenthood Federation of America President and CEO Alexis McGill Johnson said, &#8220;We are incredibly grateful for Ms. Scott\u2019s extraordinary philanthropic investment in Planned Parenthood, as a critical part of the public health infrastructure.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>She added: &#8220;As we face the most serious attacks on access to reproductive health care that we\u2019ve seen in a generation, we know this moment requires us to be innovative and to double down on our efforts to ensure everyone has equitable access to health care, including abortion.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p>Johnson said that black women &#8220;will be most hurt by the loss of abortion access in the South and Midwest&#8221; while discussing &#8220;efforts to advance health equity by eliminating racial and structural barriers for our patients&#8221; and the launch of the &#8220;Black Health Equity Initiative.&#8221; <\/p>\n<p><b><a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/justice\/clarence-thomas-released-from-hospital-after-week-of-absence-from-high-court\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">CLARENCE THOMAS RELEASED FROM HOSPITAL AFTER WEEK OF ABSENCE FROM HIGH COURT<\/a><\/b> <\/p>\n<p>The donation was made to the national office and 21 local affiliates of the abortion-providing nonprofit organization, which are specifically listed in a blog <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/mackenzie-scott.medium.com\/helping-any-of-us-can-help-us-all-f4c7487818d9\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">post<\/a> from Scott. <\/p>\n<p>It was revealed on Tuesday that Scott also <a class=\"Link\" href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonexaminer.com\/news\/jeff-bezoss-ex-makes-largest-donation-yet-to-habitat-for-humanity\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">donated<\/a> a whopping $436 million to Habitat for Humanity International and 84 affiliates in the United States. <\/p>\n<p>&#8220;This incredibly generous gift will allow us to dramatically increase capacity and implement programs that will have a multigenerational impact on communities around the U.S. and our global mission for many years to come,&#8221;
