There are a lot of calls saying Justice Thomas needs to recuse himself.\u201d\u2018<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>Booker said, \u201cClearly, Justice Thomas should have recused himself. That\u2019s not even at question here. I\u00a0think we also need a thorough investigation to better understand what exactly happened with the judge\u2019s wife.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>He continued, \u201cI have a lot of frustrations with the Supreme Court as a whole, that they have not taken better measures to police themselves. There are ethics rules that they hold lower courts responsible for that they don\u2019t put upon themselves. I\u00a0don\u2019t think\u00a0 most Americans don\u2019t understand that I could be a justice and give a paid speech to a group that has a direct matter in front of the Supreme Court or has amicus briefs in front of the Supreme Court.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Booker added, \u201cThere are a lot of ethics rules that they have not put upon themselves that are just common sense and ultimately lead to a delegitimized court.
