Version: 4.0.47--><div><\/div>\n<p class=\"subheading\">Georgetown Day School, the private Pre K-12 school where Judge Ketanji Brown Jackson sits on the board of trustees,<a href=\"https:\/\/vimeo.com\/560517119\"> promotes<\/a> the homosexual and gender fluid lifestyle, including using fourth graders in a \u201cFree to Be Me\u201d school assembly aimed to educate \u201clower class students.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As a member of the board of the Washington, DC, school, Jackson is <a href=\"http:\/\/Pre%20K-12%20School%20Where%20Judge%20Jackson%20Sits%20on%20Board%20Promotes%20LGBT%20Agenda%20Using%20Fourth%20Graders\">required<\/a> to \u201csupport\u201d and \u201cpromote\u201d the school\u2019s activities, including teaching children to be \u201cactivists\u201d and \u201callies\u201d for the LGBT rights movement.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>According to the National Association of Independent Schools<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span>website, the first responsibility of a trustee is that he\/she \u201cactively supports and promotes the school\u2019s mission, vision, strategic goals, and policy positions.\u201d NAIS also states that the trustee is \u201cknowledgeable about the school\u2019s mission and goals, including its commitment to equity and justice, represents them appropriately and accurately within the community,\u201d and \u201cstays fully informed about current operations.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The production of the virtual school assembly was led by teachers and other adults at the school and was narrated by fourth graders.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Guyton Mathews, program associate in the Office of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion at the school introduced the \u201cimportant GDS tradition\u201d and said he was glad that this year the event (held in 2021) took place during Pride Month, a month designated to celebrate the LGBT lifestyle.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n[embedded content]\n<p>\u201cToday students will take us through some LGBTQ plus history,\u201d Mathews said. \u201cAnd let us know the importance of accepting people for who they are and letting them love whoever they want.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAs a gay black man, I know too well how challenging it can be to be your authentic self because of fear you may have about being judged,\u201d Mathews said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn these scenes, the students learn about pride, activism, and what it means to be an ally,\u201d fourth grade teacher Julia Tomasko said about the event before handing it off to the nine and 10-year-olds at the school.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGood morning class,\u201d a student says. \u201cDoes anyone know any examples of times when people have worked together and decided to speak up their voice powerfully to make a difference?\u201d<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cDuring the Civil Rights movement, people all races marched to change unfair laws,\u201d the student said. \u201cPeople are still protesting for racial justice as part of the Black Lives Matter movement. Oh, yeah. We\u2019ve learned about that this year.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The students are told about the Stonewall riots in New York, which they were taught was a valiant effort to advance LGBT rights.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cA group of police officers tried to tell LGBTQ plus people they were not allowed to meet in places where they felt safe,\u201d a student said. \u201cThe people who work together to challenge the police for their rights are heroes who change the world. Oh, it\u2019s horrible that the police treated them like that.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI know you\u2019re so right,\u201d another student said. \u201cThat\u2019s why two amazing transgender women named Marsha P. Johnson and Sylvia Rivera decided to stand up for the rights of all members of the LGBTQ plus community.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Another student talks about how a 7-year-old several years ago wrote to a Maryland state senator about same-sex marriage.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B4\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cAt the time people of the same sex couldn\u2019t get married,\u201d the student said. \u201cIn her letter the\u00a0second grader told him that wasn\u2019t fair. He called that student to thank her for writing the letter and said he supported making same-sex marriage legal. Maryland was the eighth state to legalize same sex marriage.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The students at the assembly are then treated to a play of sorts based on the book<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><em>The Duchess Who Outlawed Jelly Beans<\/em>, one of the stories in a book of \u201cfairy tales\u201d described on the University of Central Florida website as \u201cLGBTQ (Gender and Sexuality); Gay\/Lesbian; gay; gay fathers; gay adults; lesbian; lesbian mothers; lesbian adults; same-sex parents; children of gay parents.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The website said the material is appropriate for grades K-3.<\/p>\n<p>At last week\u2019s Senate confirmation hearing, Jackson was asked about several controversial aspects of her professional and personal life, from light sentences she handed out to individuals convicted on child pornography charges to supporting Critical Race Theory at Georgetown Day School.<\/p>\n<p>During her second day of questioning by senators on Tuesday, Judge Jackson took questions from a number of Republicans pertaining to her opinion on \u201cCritical Race Theory\u201d \u2014 and Sen Ted Cruz (R-TX) specifically probed her on race-essentialist materials being taught at Georgetown Day School, such as <em>Antiracist Baby<\/em> by Ibram X. Kendi.<\/p>\n<p>However, teaching <em>Antiracist Baby<\/em> is not the only radical material being pushed on children at the school where Judge Jackson sits on the board.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/resources.finalsite.net\/images\/v1636400955\/gdsorg\/ciq4lvx8wbgfzccyswox\/2021-22GDSHSProfile.pdf\">GDS brags<\/a> about its far-left curriculum in its 2021-22 high school profile \u201ccurricular highlights,\u201d showcasing a course, for instance, about \u201cExploring Reproductive Justice,\u201d and a 9th Grade Seminar \u201cflagship social justice course that serves as a launching point for a GDS High School Education.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>GDS High School <a href=\"https:\/\/hoppereffect.gds.org\/spring-awakening-a-cautionary-note-and-an-in-depth-study-of-the-show\/\">stuck with<\/a> the LGBT theme for its annual theater production in June of 2021. The school website described the play <em>Spring Awakening<\/em> this way: \u201cOn a cautionary note, the show includes different types of physical and emotional abuse. Families\u2014particularly those with children younger than 8th grade\u2014are cautioned to be aware that the show alludes to sex and also, more explicitly, illustrates both inappropriately sexual and abusive, damaging human relationships.
