At the same time, the top ten states led by Republican\u00a0legislatures have the highest job growth,\u00a0as states across the country continue to get back to work after the coronavirus pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>Looking further into the data, the RNC analysis confirmed that through February, 15 of the top\u00a020 states led by Republican governors are doing a better job versus\u00a0those led by Democrats governors. And 17 of the top 20 recovering states have Republican-controlled legislatures:<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Republican states are leading the way on jobs and economic recovery. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/Jz5QAkRnPP\">https:\/\/t.co\/Jz5QAkRnPP<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 GOP (@GOP) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/GOP\/status\/1503976356753080320?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">March 16, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Additionally, 9 of the top 11 states \u2014 Utah, Idaho, Montana, Arkansas, Texas, Arizona, Florida, Georgia, and Tennessee \u2014 are entirely led by Republicans and have produced more jobs than the fully Democrat-led states had before the coronavirus pandemic started and any restrictions were put in place. These are also the same states from the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2022\/03\/14\/analysis-republican-led-states-ahead-of-democrat-led-states-in-economic-recovery-in-january\/\">January data<\/a> that\u00a0produced more jobs than before\u00a0the coronavirus pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>Since the pandemic started, Utah has had 156.5 percent of its jobs recovered,\u00a0Idaho has had 149.9 percent, Montana has had 124.1,\u00a0Texas has had 115.1 percent,\u00a0Florida has had 111.9 percent,\u00a0Arizona has had 111.2 percent,\u00a0Tennessee has had 110.1 percent, and\u00a0Arkansas has had 109.6 percent.<\/p>\n<p>The RNC analysis also showed that\u00a0all Republican-led states had recovered at least\u00a0two-thirds of the jobs lost\u00a0during the pandemic.\u00a0On average,\u00a0Republican-led states\u00a0have\u00a0recovered 97 percent of their lost jobs from the pandemic, compared to the 84 percent for the\u00a0Democrat-led states.<\/p>\n<p>As a result of this analysis, RNC chairwoman Ronna McDaniel stated that\u00a0\u201cRepublican leadership is delivering freedom, opportunity, and prosperity.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<div id=\"attachment_20387837\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/media.breitbart.com\/media\/2022\/03\/Chart-1.png\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\">U.S. Department of Labor Data<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"attachment_20387954\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Chart-2-4.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-20387954\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Chart-2-4.png\" alt=\"U.S. Department of Labor Data\" width=\"720\" height=\"448\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\">U.S. Department of Labor Data<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>Furthermore,\u00a0according to the RNC analysis, the\u00a0three states with the <a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bls.gov\/web\/laus\/laumstrk.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">lowest unemployment rates<\/a> are fully Republican-led. The\u00a0top seven states with the lowest unemployment\u00a0are\u00a0led by Republican\u00a0legislatures, as states across the country continue to get back to work after the coronavirus pandemic.<\/p>\n<p>The three Republican-governed states with the\u00a0lowest unemployment rates from February are\u00a0Nebraska\u00a0(2.1 percent),\u00a0Utah\u00a0(2.1 percent), and Indiana (2.3 percent).<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>Additionally, out of the top 25 states with the lowest unemployment rates, 21 are\u00a0led by Republican governors. And out of the top 25 states with the lowest unemployment rates, 22 are\u00a0Republican-controlled legislatures.\u00a0In fact, eight of ten states with the lowest unemployment rates are fully Republican-led. Simultaneously,\u00a0six of the ten states with the highest unemployment rates are fully Democrat-led:<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\" data-dnt=\"true\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Analysis: Republican-led States Ahead of Democrat-led States in Economic Recovery in December \u2013 Breitbart<a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/bjNmYA8VL3\">https:\/\/t.co\/bjNmYA8VL3<\/a> via <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/jacobmbliss?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">@jacobmbliss<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Nathan Brand (@NathanBrandWA) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/NathanBrandWA\/status\/1486795559285444615?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">January 27, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Democrats lead the two states with the highest unemployment percentages: California (5.4 percent) and\u00a0New Mexico (5.6 percent).<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B4\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>The analysis found that Democrat-led states have an average unemployment rate of nearly one percentage point higher than the Republican-led states.\u00a0The 28 states with Republican governors average 3.4 percent, whereas Democrat-led states have an average unemployment rate of 4.3 percent. Both are down from prior months.<\/p>\n<p>Additionally, according to the RNC analysis, of the states with lower unemployment rates from when the\u00a0pandemic began, 79 percent are helmed by Republican governors, and\u00a095 percent have Republican-controlled legislatures, which is identical to the\u00a0January data.\u00a0It also outlined that 12 states hit new record low unemployment rates, noting that ten have\u00a0Republican governors, and all 12 have Republican-controlled legislatures.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_20388071\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/chart-3.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-20388071\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/chart-3.png\" alt=\"U.S. Department of Labor Data\" width=\"573\" height=\"567\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\">U.S. Department of Labor Data<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div id=\"attachment_20388098\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Chart-4.png\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-20388098\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Chart-4.png\" alt=\"U.S. Department of Labor Data\" width=\"573\" height=\"501\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\">U.S. Department of Labor Data<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s not a coincidence that 21 of the top 25 states with the lowest unemployment rates are Republican-led, and 9 of the top 10 states for income growth are led by Republicans,\u201d\u00a0McDaniel added about the analysis of the\u00a0Labor Department\u2019s February data. \u201cVoters will reject Biden and the Democrats\u2019 failed policies and vote Republican in November.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>This all comes as the country has seen the skyrocketing price of gasoline and the highest <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/economy\/2022\/03\/10\/inflation-february\/\">inflation rate<\/a> in\u00a0nearly four decades. The RNC noted that under President Biden, \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/gasprices.aaa.com\/\">33 states<\/a>\u00a0have\u00a0hit new record high gas prices, and in\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/gasprices.aaa.com\/state-gas-price-averages\/\">33 states<\/a>, Americans are paying average prices above $4 per gallon.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In fact, as the Biden administration and the Democrats\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2022\/03\/10\/green-energy-advocate-sec-granholm-pleads-with-fossil-fuel-executives-to-up-production\/\">push<\/a>\u00a0for a world that does not use oil, it makes oil investment scarcer.\u00a0Since the Democrats have also taken power in Washington, they have taken aim at American energy between Congress and Biden.<\/p>\n<p>As most Democrats have stood by, Biden has\u00a0<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/donald-trump-joe-biden-keystone-pipeline-canada-environment-and-nature-141eabd7cca6449dfbd2dab8165812f2\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">canceled<\/a> the\u00a0Keystone XL Pipeline, <a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2021\/01\/27\/biden-suspends-oil-and-gas-drilling-in-series-of.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">suspended<\/a> oil and gas leasing, <a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bloomberg.com\/news\/articles\/2021-12-10\/biden-halts-federal-aid-to-coal-oil-and-gas-projects-overseas\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">halted<\/a>\u00a0federal support for oil and gas projects overseas, and\u00a0<a class=\"x5l\" title=\"This external link will open in a new window\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2021\/06\/01\/climate\/biden-drilling-arctic-national-wildlife-refuge.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">suspended<\/a>\u00a0oil drilling leases in the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge (ANWR). On the other hand, House Democrats passed bills that\u00a0targeted the oil, natural gas, and refining industries in the United States. Janet Mills signed\u00a0a bill into law nicknamed the \u201c<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.greentechmedia.com\/articles\/read\/maine-passes-state-level-green-new-deal\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">State-Level Green New Deal<\/a>\u201d in 2019. In a press release, her office openly asserted that it would \u201chelp achieve [the] Governor\u2019s goals of 80 percent renewable energy by 2030 and emissions reductions of 80 percent by 2050.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0Colorado General Assembly passed\u00a0Senate Bill 181\u00a0in 2019, which had\u00a0sequentially imposed \u201csweeping regulations that crippled Colorado\u2019s oil and gas industry.\u201d The\u00a0<em>Colorado Gazette<\/em>\u00a0editorial board explained that\u00a0\u201cwithin six months of the bill\u2019s enactment, approval permits for oil wells plummeted by 57%; approved well-drilling permits dropped 58%.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Nevada\u2019s\u00a0<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/thenevadaindependent.com\/article\/what-new-clean-car-standards-mean-for-nevada-drivers-and-the-environment\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">legislature<\/a><span class=\"apple-converted-space\">\u00a0in 2019\u00a0passed\u00a0<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/www.leg.state.nv.us\/Session\/80th2019\/Reports\/history.cfm?DocumentType=2&#038;BillNo=254\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">SB 254<\/a>, which would\u00a0require the Division of Environmental Protection to create a yearly inventory of greenhouse gas emissions and develop strategies to reduce the state\u2019s greenhouse gas emissions. The goal is to reduce the\u00a0emissions by 28 percent by 2025 and 45 percent by 2030, from a 2005 baseline.<\/span><\/p>\n<p>And only last March,\u00a0New Mexico\u00a0<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/legiscan.com\/NM\/bill\/SB8\/2021\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">passed<\/a>\u00a0Senate Bill 8, which\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.currentargus.com\/story\/news\/2022\/03\/17\/new-mexico-joe-biden-air-pollution-regulations-cars-gas-prices-environmental-protection-agency\/7052552001\/\">would<\/a> have\u00a0\u201callowed the State to set environmental standards more stringent than federal law\u201d aligning the state with Biden\u2019s policies on\u00a0air pollution, the\u00a0<em>Carlsbad Current-Argus\u00a0<\/em>noted. A\u00a0Santa Fe-based\u00a0spokesman for\u00a0Power the Future also contended that the\u00a0\u201cconstrictive energy policy at both the state and federal level were responsible for rising prices of gasoline and other sources.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><i>Jacob Bliss is a reporter for Breitbart News.
