An internet search revealed several videos and pictures of the same incident were shared on <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/danielmwoodruff\/status\/1498771220010962945?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1498771564640145408%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es2_&#038;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fkutv.com%2Fnews%2Flocal%2Fman-arrested-during-utah-senate-committee-hearing-cited-with-interrupting-public-meeting-legislature-politics\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Twitter<\/a> on March 1 by Daniel Woodruff, a reporter for KUTV, who explained they took place at a <a href=\"https:\/\/le.utah.gov\/committee\/committee.jsp?year=2022&#038;com=SSTREV\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Utah Senate Revenue and Taxation Committee<\/a> meeting.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Things just got heated FAST as the UHP took away the guy in cuffs after he didn\u2019t comply with what they were asking him to do. People here are angry,\u201d one tweet reads.<\/p>\n<p>The man shown in the video was removed from the meeting for breaking the Senate committee\u2019s rules of decorum by refusing to remove his \u201cPro-HB-60\u201d sticker, which reportedly read \u201cVote yes on HB60,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/kutv.com\/news\/local\/man-arrested-during-utah-senate-committee-hearing-cited-with-interrupting-public-meeting-legislature-politics\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">KUTV<\/a> reported. The man was cited for disrupting a public meeting after he refused to leave and was released shortly after, the outlet reported. Both <a href=\"https:\/\/kutv.com\/news\/local\/man-arrested-during-utah-senate-committee-hearing-cited-with-interrupting-public-meeting-legislature-politics\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">KUTV<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sltrib.com\/news\/politics\/2022\/03\/01\/ban-vaccine-passports\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Salt Lake Tribune<\/a> reported on the incident, yet neither mentioned the man being arrested for his shirt.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/le.utah.gov\/~2022\/bills\/static\/HB0060.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">House Bill 60<\/a>, also known as H.B. 60, was a proposed bill that would enact \u201ca prohibition on the use of an individual\u2019s immunity status by places of public accommodation, governmental entities, and employers,\u201d according to its text. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2021\/09\/30\/fact-check-video-french-doctor-arrested-prescribing-ivermectin\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED:<\/a><a href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2021\/09\/30\/fact-check-video-french-doctor-arrested-prescribing-ivermectin\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\"> Does This Video Show A French Doctor Being Arrested For Prescribing Ivermectin?)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Utah State Sen. <a href=\"https:\/\/senate.utah.gov\/sen\/MCCAYD\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Dan McCay<\/a> had warned attendees about breaking rules of decorum prior to the incident, specifically stating that stickers and posters were not allowed, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sltrib.com\/news\/politics\/2022\/03\/01\/ban-vaccine-passports\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Salt Lake Tribune<\/a>.
