Dan Sullivan (R-AK) shared his frustration over the Biden administration\u2019s refusal to utilize American energy.<\/p>\n<p>Sullivan told CNBC\u2019s \u201cSquawk Box\u201d that the White House has been telling others to quit investing in American energy. He added that \u201cthe American people are getting sick of it.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cThe federal regulators that the Biden administration has put forward \u2014 a lot having to do with finance, right, Comptroller of the Currency, SEC chief \u2014 they\u2019re all putting out signals,\u201d Sullivan declared. \u201cI mean, heck, some of them are just blatant \u2014 \u2018We want to bankrupt America\u2019s energy companies.\u2019 That\u2019s what [Saule] Omarova said before she was yanked as Comptroller of the Currency.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cBut [Omarova] didn\u2019t get the job,\u201d host Joe Kernen interrupted.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNo, they didn\u2019t get the job, but they\u2019re sending the signal,\u201d Sullivan replied. \u201cBut let me continue. It\u2019s John Kerry and Gina McCarthy going to American finances, saying, \u2018Hey, don\u2019t invest in American energy projects.\u2019\u00a0I know for a fact that some of our recipients of American LNG like in Japan, have been told by Kerry and others to be careful on buying American LNG. And then, of course, it\u2019s the whole ESG movement, which, again \u2026 AIG can do whatever it wants in terms of a free market. But I will tell you this \u2014 the American people are getting sick of it.
