Using a patently false narrative that was quickly <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/03\/18\/look-how-media-propagandists-covered-the-trump-russia-hoax-vs-the-bombshell-biden-laptop-scandal\/\">picked up and is still being spread by the propaganda press,<\/a> people hired by Clinton used secretly obtained information to convince the Obama administration to spy on Trump and his aides with the hopes of peddling their collusion scandal.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey worked together with a single, self-serving purpose: to vilify Donald J. Trump. Indeed, their far-reaching conspiracy was designed to cripple Trump\u2019s bid for presidency by fabricating a scandal that would be used to trigger an unfounded federal investigation and ignite a media frenzy,\u201d the complaint declares. <\/p>\n<p>These actions, Trump\u2019s complaint details, were not only incredibly illicit at times but downright scandalous.  <\/p>\n<p>\u201cActing in concert, the Defendants maliciously conspired to weave a false narrative that their Republican opponent, Donald J. Trump, was colluding with a hostile foreign sovereignty. The actions taken in furtherance of their scheme \u2014 falsifying evidence, deceiving law enforcement, and exploiting access to highly-sensitive data sources \u2014 are so outrageous, subversive and incendiary that even the events of Watergate pale in comparison,\u201d the complaint states.<\/p>\n<p>Trump\u2019s complaint also notes that \u201cthe fallout from the Defendants\u2019 actions was not limited to the public denigration\u201d and lawyer fees but also included the government wasting \u201cprecious time, resources and taxpayer dollars.\u201d As a result, the Republican is demanding more than $72 million in damages.<\/p>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\" \/>\n<p>\n  Jordan Boyd is a staff writer at The Federalist and co-producer of The Federalist Radio Hour.
