[And] I\u2019ve experienced A LOT of amazing\/surreal things.\u201d<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">The biggest and worst lie my generation was ever sold is that motherhood is a burden and something you could take or leave.<\/p>\n<p>But nothing in my life compares to being Liberty\u2019s mom \u2013 the sheer joy, fulfillment, privilege it is.<\/p>\n<p>&#038; I\u2019ve experienced A LOT of amazing\/surreal things.<\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Meghan McCain (@MeghanMcCain) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/MeghanMcCain\/status\/1507016262718611459?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">March 24, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The former Fox News host didn\u2019t explain what inspired her remarks, but she has shared comments on her Twitter and Instagram in the past about how much being a mother to her and husband Ben Domenech\u2019s daughter means to her.<\/p>\n<p>In May 2021, McCain celebrated her new motherhood after giving birth to her daughter Liberty Sage in September 2020.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy first Mother\u2019s Day,\u201d McCain\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/COrQNn2NAsN\/?utm_source=ig_embed&#038;ig_rid=54c1addc-de34-457d-a0c3-6106c1e24a51\">captioned<\/a> her post. \u201cThe greatest joy and unfathomable bliss of life is being her mother ~ \u2018where Liberty dwells, there is my country.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Months before, she posted another message on\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/p\/CI02Ev4sI-M\/\">Instagram<\/a> and admitted that having her daughter has answered so many questions she\u2019s always had about about being a human in this \u201cwild life.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am not a poet nor an artists \u2013 so I cannot fully express the ecstasy of motherhood,\u201d the former ABC talk show co-host shared. \u201cHowever, I will say having a daughter answers every existential and ontological question a human being confronts in this wild life. Ben and I have been so indescribably blessed and experienced nothing but an embarrassment of bliss since having Liberty.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/feckless-moronic-isolated-titanic-of-an-administration-meghan-mccain-unloads-on-biden\">McCain<\/a> has been very open on social media about her life as a mom, her pregnancy, and even thinking the miscarriage she and her husband suffered before she became pregnant with Liberty might have meant she wasn\u2019t supposed to be a mother.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI pray to God and I pray to my dad when I\u2019m going through hard times,\u201d the Daily Mail columnist shared, <a href=\"https:\/\/people.com\/parents\/meghan-mccain-gets-real-about-the-euphoria-and-mess-of-new-mom-life\/\">reported<\/a> People magazine previously. \u201cI do both, which maybe sounds weird, but I just feel like my dad\u2019s in heaven and I find comfort in praying and asking him for advice.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was like, \u2018Please make this decision for me \u2026 because I\u2019m OK with being able to have kids or not being able to have kids, I just want to have some kind of resolution,\u2019\u201d she added. \u201cAnd then I got pregnant really soon after, and I found out I was pregnant right after I had gone home to Arizona for the first time since he [my dad] died.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Meghan and Domenech got married in 2017.<\/p>\n<p><i>Enter for the chance to hang out with Gina Carano at the premiere of her new Daily Wire movie, Terror on the Prairie!
