Ron Johnson is blasting federal health agencies for their continued coverup of data relating to adverse side effects experienced by people who have received the Covid-19 jab.<\/p>\n<p>In a Wednesday letter exclusively obtained by The Federalist, Johnson criticized the federal government for its lack of transparency over the Covid-19 pandemic, saying he has \u201cwritten 35 letters to the Executive Branch asking questions related to the COVID-19 pandemic and the federal government\u2019s response to it\u201d and that the \u201cgrossly inadequate response to [his] legitimate oversight demonstrates a level of arrogance toward the American public that is unacceptable.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn particular, the lack of transparency from federal health agencies has eroded public confidence \u2026 which will take years, and probably a complete restructuring of them, to repair,\u201d he wrote.<\/p>\n<p>The letter was addressed to Health and Human Services Secretary Xavier Becerra, Food and Drug Administration Commissioner Robert Califf, National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases Director Anthony Fauci, and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention Director Rochelle Walensky.<\/p>\n<p>In his criticism of the agencies and their respective leadership, Johnson cited data from the Vaccine Adverse Event Reporting System (VAERS), which shows that as of March 18, 2022, the database \u201chas received 1,183,495 worldwide reports of adverse events and 25,641 death reports.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOf those deaths, 7,382 (28.8%) occurred on day 0, 1, or 2 following vaccination. It is difficult to understand how this growing number of adverse event reports has not resulted in health agencies conducting significant investigation, taking action, and providing detailed explanations to the American people,\u201d Johnson wrote. \u201cInstead, we have gotten the Mad Magazine Alfred E. Neuman response, \u2018What, me worry?&#8217;\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-scribd wp-block-embed-scribd\"><\/figure>\n<p>The Republican senator went on to note multiple insurance agencies that have documented thousands of cases of adverse reactions to the Covid-19 shot. For instance, CEO of OneAmerica Scott Davison \u201creported a 40% increase in the death rates of working-age people ages 18 to 64 in the third quarter of 2021.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Andreas Schofbeck, who serves as a board member of the German health insurance company BKK ProVita, also reported alarming numbers of severe side effects among their nearly 11 million customers, including \u201cmore than 216,000 adverse reactions following vaccination in the data that was available for 2021.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As a result of these findings, Schofbeck estimates that the \u201ctrue number of vaccine adverse events is 12 times higher than the number reported by the German public health agency.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In his letter, Johnson also cited the significant increase in registered medical problems among U.S. service members, pointing to figures from the Defense Medical Epidemiology Database (DMED) that \u201cshowed a considerable increase of medical diagnosis in 2021 compared to the previous five years.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI have raised concerns to [Department of Defense] Secretary [Lloyd] Austin in multiple letters and he has not responded,\u201d Johnson wrote.<\/p>\n<p>In closing his remarks, the Wisconsin Republican asked the varying health agencies to provide answers to several inquiries, including the federal health establishment\u2019s \u201ccurrent estimate for the percentage of adverse events captured by VAERS,\u201d as well as if they are concerned or have any intention of taking steps to address the alarming figures from VAERS and other sources.<\/p>\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator\" \/>\n<p>\n  Shawn Fleetwood is an intern at The Federalist and a senior at the University of Mary Washington.
