The video has nothing to do with the recent incident in China.<\/p>\n<p><span><strong>Fact Check:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<div>\n<p>China Eastern Airlines flight MU5735 crashed in a mountainous region of the Guangxi province of China on Monday, killing all 132 people on board, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/world-asia-china-60830395\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">BBC News<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>One video shared on Facebook claims to show footage of the incident. It shows a plane engulfed in fire skidding to a halt on a runway and people using an inflatable slide to escape the burning wreck. Some of the footage is from inside the burning plane. \u201cChina Eastern Plane Crash,\u201d reads the post\u2019s caption.<\/p>\n<p>The video shared on Facebook does not show the recent crash, however. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Y_qNMCE7A2U\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">DW News<\/a> posted a video on its verified YouTube account in May 2019 that includes the same clips featured in the Facebook video, including the footage from inside the plane. The DW News description explains the footage stems from a May 2019 incident in which an <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aeroflot.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Aeroflot<\/a> airliner crashed at Russia\u2019s Sheremetyevo airport, killing 41 people. The flight\u2019s crew reported an unspecified \u201cmalfunction\u201d and was attempting an emergency landing when the plane caught fire, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/news\/world\/burning-aeroflot-plane-lands-moscow-injuries-reported-n1002161\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">NBC News<\/a> reported.<\/p>\n<p>Similar footage of the incident was published by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=zxyaULwF9xM\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Moscow Times<\/a>.
