The war has caused widespread destruction and done an estimated $100 billion in infrastructure damage already, according to a <a href=\"https:\/\/news.un.org\/en\/story\/2022\/03\/1114022\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">U.N. report<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>One <a href=\"https:\/\/www.facebook.com\/watch\/?v=546688876663050\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">video<\/a> shared on Facebook shows drones being used to put out a fire engulfing a high-rise building as a group of people look on. \u201cFirefighter Drones #Ukraine\u00a0#Russia,\u201d reads the video\u2019s caption, which also includes a Ukrainian flag emoji. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2022\/03\/08\/fact-check-russian-ambassador-united-nations-election\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Did The Russian Ambassador To The UN Say That Donald Trump Was Overthrown?)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The video predates the conflict in Ukraine and was not taken in the country. A keyword search found that the footage first appeared on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=WFqThcMIN7A\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">YouTube<\/a> in January 2020 and was filmed in Chongqing, China. The video shows a demonstration of new drone technology developed by a Chinese drone company to combat high-rise building fires, according to its title and description.<\/p>\n[embedded content]\n<p>\u201cOn January 20, Guofei General Aviation Equipment Manufacturing held a fire drill in Dazu, Chongqing,\u201d reads the video\u2019s description. \u201cCombining the characteristics of high-rise firefighting in Chongqing, they used six high-rise fire fighting drones to quickly put out the fire, so that guests at the scene could witness the miracle of a high-rise fire fighting UAV.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Russian-Ukrainian conflict has seen both sides use drones to attack each other, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thetimes.co.uk\/article\/specialist-drone-unit-picks-off-invading-forces-as-they-sleep-zlx3dj7bb\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The Times<\/a>.
