The legislation is aimed at ensuring high school students in the Sunshine State are prepared to manage their finances in the future.<\/p>\n<p>During a press conference on Tuesday, DeSantis signed Senate Bill 1054, also known as the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.flgov.com\/2022\/03\/22\/governor-ron-desantis-signs-financial-literacy-bill-to-support-floridas-students\/\">Dorothy L. The legislation is also aimed at helping young Floridians be better prepared for economic challenges when they enter the work force.<\/p>\n<p>Florida Rep. Demi Busatta Cabrera was also in attendance Tuesday and stressed the bill was critical to set students up for success in the future.
