Dick Durbin and Republican Iowa Sen. Chuck Grassley. \u201cShe has been handpicked by a pro-abortion president to satisfy the pressure campaign from pro-abortion, progressive activists.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The coalition, which includes leaders of the American College of Pediatricians, Susan B. Anthony List, National Right to Life and numerous other organizations, urged the Senate to consider <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/03\/21\/abortion-protesters-ketanji-brown-jackson-hearing\/\">Jackson\u2019s<\/a> judicial <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/02\/25\/joe-biden-supreme-court-nominee-ketanji-brown-jackson-democrat\/\">record<\/a> on abortion issues.<\/p>\n<p>The letter focused on an amicus <a href=\"https:\/\/firstliberty.org\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Amicus-Brief-on-Behalf-of-NARAL-McGuire-v-Reilly.pdf\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">brief<\/a> Jackson co-authored for the Massachusetts National Abortion Rights Action League (NARAL) regarding \u201cbuffer zones\u201d which restricted protests outside abortion clinics.<\/p>\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\">\n<p dir=\"ltr\" lang=\"en\">Supreme Court nominee Ketanji Brown Jackson on abortion cases:<\/p>\n<p>\u201cRoe and Casey are the settled law of the Supreme Court concerning the right to terminate a woman\u2019s pregnancy. Wade jurisprudence,\u201d the letter said.\u201dScholars from across the spectrum of legal thought have criticized Roe as \u2018bad constitutional law\u2019 and \u2018among the most damaging of judicial decisions.\u2019\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Jackson <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/NewsHour\/status\/1506293044001320963\">signaled<\/a> support for the precedents established in Roe v.
