Version: 4.0.47--><p class=\"subheading\">Wisconsin\u2019s Eau Claire Area School District (ECASD) has implemented radical gender ideology training and policy that puts the onus on students to find alternatives if they are uncomfortable with students of the opposite sex using their restrooms.<\/p>\n<p>After explaining that students are allowed to choose whichever restroom and locker room they wish, \u201cbased on the gender identity expressed by the student,\u201d the ECASD Administrative Guidance for Gender Identity Support <a href=\"https:\/\/media.breitbart.com\/media\/2022\/03\/Administrative-Guidance-for-Gender-Support-updated-11.30.2021-1.pdf\">says<\/a> that if a student is uncomfortable sharing these facilities with students of the opposite sex, it is their responsibility to seek an alternative.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cAny student who is uncomfortable using a shared restroom or locker room regardless of the reason, shall upon request, be provided with an alternative,\u201d it says. \u201cHowever, staff should not require a transgender or gender nonconforming student \/employee to use a separate, nonintegrated space unless requested by the individual student.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Like many school districts across the country with policy oriented toward gender ideology, ECASD actively hides critical mental health information from a student\u2019s parents, requiring consent from the student to inform the parents about health developments.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSome transgender, non-binary, and\/or gender-nonconforming students are not \u2018open\u2019 at home for reasons that may include safety concerns or lack of acceptance,\u201d the guidance says. \u201cSchool personnel should speak with the student first before discussing a student\u2019s gender nonconformity or transgender status with the student\u2019s parent\/guardian.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>To Ian Prior, America First Legal (AFL) senior adviser, policies like this pose a significant threat to parental rights as they relate to being able to raise and care for their own children, outside the purview of government schools.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think what we have here is a school that is on intent on pushing gender theory and gender ideology on its students, and then,\u00a0once it\u2019s done that, preventing parents from being part of discussion as it relates to those which, quite frankly, the law is very clear that parents have a\u00a0liberty interest, pursuant to the First and\u00a0Fourteenth\u00a0Amendments,\u00a0to be the primary caregivers,\u201d Prior told Breitbart News. \u201cBut there really is exemplified here in Eau Claire is a school district that is trampling over those rights, which could result in some very damaging consequences, not just for the family, but especially for the child whose parents aren\u2019t allowed to be part of those discussions.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>ECASD has paid for staff training on gender ideology as well, some of which is aimed at creating an activist class on behalf of the ideology.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_20322155\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/media.breitbart.com\/media\/2022\/03\/Screenshot-2022-03-22-154228.jpg\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\">\u201cGenderbread Person\u201d chart provided to ECASD staff. (ECASD \/ Obtained by America First Legal).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>In one training session <a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1aWT2vZ3T40lSdkfyjFbZBloxNDRIvc5F\/view\">provided<\/a> to Breitbart News called \u201cSafe Space,\u201d the lesson condemns \u201cperformative allyship\u201d \u2014 like posting to Twitter or going to a gay pride parade \u2014 arguing rather that \u201c<span class=\"transcript-snippet__content__body__word\">when<\/span> <span class=\"transcript-snippet__content__body__word\">the<\/span> <span class=\"transcript-snippet__content__body__word\">serious<\/span> <span class=\"transcript-snippet__content__body__word\">stuff<\/span> <span class=\"transcript-snippet__content__body__word\">happens,<\/span> <span class=\"transcript-snippet__content__body__word\">we<\/span> <span class=\"transcript-snippet__content__body__word\">need<\/span> <span class=\"transcript-snippet__content__body__word\">people<\/span> <span class=\"transcript-snippet__content__body__word\">out<\/span> <span class=\"transcript-snippet__content__body__word\">there<\/span> <span class=\"transcript-snippet__content__body__word\">like<\/span> <span class=\"transcript-snippet__content__body__word\">in<\/span> <span class=\"transcript-snippet__content__body__word\">the<\/span> <span class=\"transcript-snippet__content__body__word\">streets<\/span> <span class=\"transcript-snippet__content__body__word\">protesting<\/span> <span class=\"transcript-snippet__content__body__word\">or<\/span> <span class=\"transcript-snippet__content__body__word\">writing<\/span> <span class=\"transcript-snippet__content__body__word\">to<\/span> <span class=\"transcript-snippet__content__body__word\">senators.<\/span> <span class=\"transcript-snippet__content__body__word\">If<\/span> <span class=\"transcript-snippet__content__body__word\">you\u2019re<\/span> <span class=\"transcript-snippet__content__body__word\">not<\/span> <span class=\"transcript-snippet__content__body__word\">there<\/span>\u00a0<span class=\"transcript-snippet__content__body__word\">then<\/span> <span class=\"transcript-snippet__content__body__word\">you\u2019re<\/span> <span class=\"transcript-snippet__content__body__word\">not<\/span> <span class=\"transcript-snippet__content__body__word\">really<\/span> <span class=\"transcript-snippet__content__body__word\">an<\/span> <span class=\"transcript-snippet__content__body__word\">ally<\/span> <span class=\"transcript-snippet__content__body__word\">to<\/span> <span class=\"transcript-snippet__content__body__word\">us.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Going further along these lines, being an \u201cally\u201d is also not enough to be considered in the good graces of the movement. d<\/span><span class=\"transcript-snippet__content__body__word\">ecide<\/span> <span class=\"transcript-snippet__content__body__word\">to<\/span> <span class=\"transcript-snippet__content__body__word\">go<\/span> <span class=\"transcript-snippet__content__body__word\">around<\/span> <span class=\"transcript-snippet__content__body__word\">go<\/span> <span class=\"transcript-snippet__content__body__word\">in<\/span> <span class=\"transcript-snippet__content__body__word\">and<\/span> <span class=\"transcript-snippet__content__body__word\">say<\/span> <span class=\"transcript-snippet__content__body__word\">you<\/span> <span class=\"transcript-snippet__content__body__word\">know<\/span> <span class=\"transcript-snippet__content__body__word\">what?<\/span> <span class=\"transcript-snippet__content__body__word\">You<\/span> <span class=\"transcript-snippet__content__body__word\">go<\/span> <span class=\"transcript-snippet__content__body__word\">to<\/span> <span class=\"transcript-snippet__content__body__word\">jail.<\/span> <span class=\"transcript-snippet__content__body__word\">I\u2019m<\/span> <span class=\"transcript-snippet__content__body__word\">going<\/span> <span class=\"transcript-snippet__content__body__word\">to<\/span> <span class=\"transcript-snippet__content__body__word\">jail.<\/span> <span class=\"transcript-snippet__content__body__word\">That<\/span> <span class=\"transcript-snippet__content__body__word\">is<\/span> <span class=\"transcript-snippet__content__body__word\">what<\/span> <span class=\"transcript-snippet__content__body__word\">it<\/span> <span class=\"transcript-snippet__content__body__word\">means<\/span> <span class=\"transcript-snippet__content__body__word\">to<\/span> <span class=\"transcript-snippet__content__body__word\">be<\/span> <span class=\"transcript-snippet__content__body__word\">an<\/span> <span class=\"transcript-snippet__content__body__word\">accomplice.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Some staff are appalled by what they have been subjected to in their training sessions.<\/p>\n<p>In an\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/media.breitbart.com\/media\/2022\/03\/Staff-Email.pdf\">email<\/a> provided to Breitbart News, a teacher expressed concerns regarding the equity trainings, telling Eau Claire, \u201cI have been sharing a lot of these things with parents and they are beyond shocked.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cWhen one person yesterday slightly spoke about the fact that this isn\u2019t \u2018their truth,\u2019 more than one person had an extremely condescending response to it,\u201d the letter stated. \u201cHow are we supposed to provide a \u201csafe space\u201d for our students, when the adults in the building can\u2019t even be open to the fact that other people don\u2019t feel the exact same way they do? What about diversity of opinion?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe only truth that people want to hear at these trainings is anything that goes along with what is being shared,\u201d it continued.<\/p>\n<p>In addition, one of the materials provided in Eau Claire is a \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/media.breitbart.com\/media\/2022\/03\/Heterosexual-Privilege-Checklist.docx\">Heterosexual Privilege Checklist<\/a>,\u201d that lists out scenarios to prove that heterosexual people have privilege in American society.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B4\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>Some examples include the following:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\u201cI can be pretty sure that my roommates, classmates, and colleagues will be comfortable with my sexual orientation.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>\u201cI did not grow up with games that attack my sexual orientation (i.e., fag tag or smear the queer).\u201d<\/li>\n<li>\u201cI can go home from most meetings, classes, and conversations without feeling excluded, fearful, attacked, isolated, outnumbered, unheard, held at a distance, stereotyped or feared because of my sexual orientation.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>\u201cMy sexual orientation was never associated with a closet.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>\u201cI can choose to not think politically about my sexual orientation.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div id=\"attachment_20325251\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Screenshot-2022-03-22-174650.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-20325251\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Screenshot-2022-03-22-174650.jpg\" alt=\"\" Privilege \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\">\u201cPrivilege\u201d slide from \u201cIdentity, Privilege, and Systems of Oppression\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/drive.google.com\/file\/d\/1QuSrJVEZ64LJN58dguNO1rVz0D8T2Hin\/view\">training<\/a>. (ECASD \/ Obtained by America First Legal).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>The ideology does not just affect teachers, Prior explained, but can do irreversible damage to children as well.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhen you look at the whole course of conduct from the school districts really bringing these issues of gender theory and gender ideology to young children\u2019s attention, it essentially is indoctrinating them in this idea that biological sex is somehow fluid, and they can make determinations on gender themselves,\u201d he said. \u201cFor young children, five years old, six years old, even up to, you know,\u00a0their young teenage years, this is not something that they\u2019re necessarily equipped to be hearing about in these vulnerable and growing years.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt creates the real risk that they are going to buy into this and start questioning their own biology,\u201d he continued, saying that the questioning can lead to more radical medical decisions. \u201cOnce you get to the point where they questioned it, and they\u2019re going to teachers, instead of parents, and those teachers are hiding it from parents, you create a very real possibility that they\u2019re going to go down a dangerous path of puberty blockers, testosterone, other physical changes that result in mental changes as well, that can quite frankly, be either irreversible, or not reversible without, you know, significant therapy and surgery.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf those those issues are not handled, they could have long term mental and physical health problems for the rest of their lives, including \u2026\u00a0mental health issues that lead to potential suicide attempts or suicide, all of which is going on under the parents very noses, without them being able to step in and exercise their role as the primary caregiver of a child and the individuals most responsible for the mental, emotional and physical well being of their child,\u201d Prior said.<\/p>\n<p>Much of the push to inject gender ideology into classrooms comes from a Marxist conception of children in society, one that places the state above the parent, which is taught to many education administrators in college \u2014 part of something Prior calls the \u201ceducation industrial complex.\u201d<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_20325242\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Screenshot-2022-03-22-174344.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-20325242\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Screenshot-2022-03-22-174344.jpg\" alt=\"\" Intersectionality Definition \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\">\u201cIntersectionality Definition\u201d slide from \u201cIdentity, Privilege, and Systems of Oppression\u201d training. (ECASD \/ Obtained by America First Legal).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cThis is something that has really been put into the ether through higher ed[ucation], and it\u2019s actually laid out quite clearly by [Karl] Marx where he talks about that a child is able to be free from their mother\u2019s care \u2026 that child belongs with the state,\u201d Prior told Breitbart News. \u201cSo these are concepts that have been in existence for well over 100 years and work their way into higher education, where you have your school administrators and your teachers going to get their certificates, their degrees, and their certifications to come in and teach our children.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNot every teacher is on board with this,\u201d he continued. \u201cThere are many teachers that they\u2019re extremely uncomfortable with this, that view this as almost a hostile work environment, to be adapted through these teacher trainings, that quite frankly, conflict with either their religious, ethical, or common sense belief of what science and biology is.\u201d<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_20325260\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Screenshot-2022-03-22-174841.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"wp-image-20325260\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Screenshot-2022-03-22-174841.jpg\" alt=\"\" What is Oppression? \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\">\u201cWhat is Oppression?\u201d slide from \u201cIdentity, Privilege, and Systems of Oppression\u201d training. (ECASD \/ Obtained by America First Legal).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>In order to combat this from seeping further into schools, and reverse the current trend, Prior says it will take both a strong grassroots effort among parents, students, school staff, and others coupled with an effective litigation strategy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s going to take a major effort from people across the country, whether it\u2019s parents, students, teachers, administrators, school board members that want to be on the right side of this issue to step forward and stand up to this very dangerous ideology that threatens the future of our children, but also threatens to interfere with the very family relationships that are necessary for the success of both the child and the family going forward,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou\u2019re not going to be able to rely on the federal government under this administration to enforce the constitutional rights of parents,\u201d Prior explained. \u201cSo it\u2019s important that parents be able to do it themselves.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>AFL\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.aflegal.org\/resources\/pupil-rights\">provides<\/a> a \u201ctoolkit for parents\u201d on how to navigate the Protection of Pupil Rights Amendment (PPRA) \u2014 a 1974 law that allows parents access to curriculums and opt out of activities that receive federal funding. \u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe would encourage parents to take advantage of the\u00a0PPRA as well as FOIA to really expose what is going on in in these schools so that parents everywhere can, one, understand what\u2019s happening, but to also have a roadmap to find out what\u2019s what\u2019s going on in their very own school districts,\u201d Prior said.<\/p>\n<p>After gathering information, one of the only ways to force real change in a school district, Prior contends, is through litigation.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_20325287\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Screenshot-2022-03-22-175047-e1647985921434.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-20325287\" src=\"https:\/\/www.conservativenewsdaily.net\/breaking-news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/Screenshot-2022-03-22-175047-e1647985921434.jpg\" alt=\"\" Privileged \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-caption-text\">\u201cPrivileged\/Oppressed Identities\u201d slide from \u201cIdentity, Privilege, and Systems of Oppression\u201d training. (ECASD \/ Obtained by America First Legal).<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p>One of AFL\u2019s missions is to \u201cenforc[e] parents\u2019 constitutional rights, children\u2019s constitutional rights, through the courts,\u201d he explained, calling that a \u201cfounding principle.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cUltimately, if you want to make change, that change is going to have to come through the court system by enforcing the constitutional rights that have allowed parents to be that primary caregiver to their children for well over 200 years,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>To Prior, those constitutional rights are directly threatened by the push for gender ideology, especially starting at such a young, impressionable age.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat you see with this gender ideology is really an erasure of classical liberal ideals of objectivism throughout our society and the very foundations of the Enlightenment, which is giving rise to the American system,\u201d he said. \u201cThe more you are able to blur the lines and create a situation where people are operating based on quote,\u00a0\u2018lived experiences\u2019 as opposed to objective reality, you are, in fact, breaking down the foundations of liberalism, the American experiment, and you\u2019re seeing it, not just in schools, you\u2019re seeing it, obviously, in athletics.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor years, people have been trying to grow women\u2019s sports, at the high school level, at the college level, even at the professional level, and now all of a sudden, that\u2019s no longer a goal of the left,\u201d he continued, referencing the women\u2019s NCAA swimming national championships wherein Lia Thomas, a biological male who identifies as a woman, was allowed to compete against women to eventually come in first place in an event. \u201cThey\u2019re\u00a0now erasing the very ability of women and girls to compete on an objective and fair playing field, as we saw with\u00a0the swimming\u00a0national championships.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are going up against the educational industrial complex, so you have administrators, teachers, unions, school board members that are all committed to this ideology with, you know, at the high end, over $2 billion budget, and the ability to keep things from parents,\u201d Prior told Breitbart News. \u201cWhat has to happen is that parents need to mobilize, they need to get the word out, they need to find the evidence to pay for, as I said, FOIA, the PPRA to share that with each other, they need to protest what is going on at their schools, and they need to really raise awareness through through the media and non-traditional media, traditional media, whichever way possible.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><em>Breccan F.
