Wade <\/i>philosophy, adding:<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><i>Scholars from across the spectrum of legal thought have criticized Roe as \u201cbad constitutional law\u201d and \u201camong the most damaging of judicial decisions.\u201d Roe not only denigrates our legal system, but also authorizes our nation\u2019s radical policy of abortion on demand until birth.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\">The Susan B. Anthony List <a href=\"https:\/\/www.sba-list.org\/newsroom\/press-releases\/pro-life-coalition-exposes-katanji-brown-jacksons-pro-abortion-extremism-ahead-scotus-hearings\"><span class=\"s1\">discussed<\/span><\/a> Jackson\u2019s past actions, noting that she co-authored an amicus brief in favor of a law in Massachusetts that established a \u201cbuffer zone\u201d to prohibit pro-life activists from approaching women outside of abortion centers.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The letter further explained the hesitation behind Jackson\u2019s confirmation, noting, \u201cIn an amicus brief co-authored by Jackson on behalf of the Massachusetts National Abortion Rights Action League (Mass. NARAL) and other abortion groups regarding buffer zones around abortion clinics in Massachusetts, she portrayed pro-life sidewalk counselors as a \u2018hostile, noisy crowd of \u201cin-your-face\u201d protesters.\u2019 However, offering life-affirming support or prayer outside of a clinic is not \u2018harassment\u2019 and to insist that offering an alternative to abortion is \u2018indisputably harmful to a medical patient\u2019s physical well-being\u2019 is the height of absurdity.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The letter pointed out the support Jackson has received from pro-abortion organizations, noting that the \u201cgroups had spent six-figure sums promoting Jackson. Now that she is the nominee, they have already pledged a million more.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The letter continued:<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\"><i>Planned Parenthood, NARAL, and the National Women\u2019s Law Center have issued support for Jackson\u2019s confirmation. The American Constitution Society, which has frequently hosted Jackson as a speaker and applauded her nomination, has publicly supported efforts to \u201creform\u201d the Supreme Court to protect abortion.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p class=\"p1\">SBA List President Marjorie Dannenfelser\u00a0added, \u201cWith the Court\u2019s decision in\u00a0<i>Dobbs<\/i>\u00a0expected this summer, the stakes have never been higher in the fight to restore power to protect unborn life to the people and their elected representatives, not unelected judges. Ketanji Brown Jackson\u2019s record of hostility to pro-life Americans is radically out of step with the\u00a0<span class=\"s2\"><b>majority<\/b><\/span>\u00a0of the country. Her nomination fulfills Joe Biden\u2019s\u00a0<span class=\"s2\"><b>promise<\/b><\/span>\u00a0to only appoint justices who support the\u00a0<i>Roe v. Wade\u00a0<\/i>regime and his party\u2019s broader agenda of abortion on demand up to birth, without limits of any kind.\u201d<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201cWe urge senators to stand with unborn children and their mothers and reject this nominee. We will be closely monitoring the hearings and working to expose the pro-abortion extremism of the Biden administration and their allies ahead of the crucial midterm elections,\u201d she stated.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">With the high court\u2019s upcoming decision regarding a Mississippi law that bans abortions after 15 weeks of pregnancy, pro-abortion activists are likely getting ready to mount legal challenges to pro-life laws across the country.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The contentious climate surrounding abortion was on display outside of the Supreme Court as protesters came together during Jackson\u2019s confirmation hearings on Monday.<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">The Daily Wire <a href=\"https:\/\/www.dailywire.com\/news\/watch-abortion-protesters-battle-outside-of-ketanji-brown-jacksons-confirmation-hearings\"><span class=\"s1\">reported<\/span><\/a>, \u201cBoth pro-life and pro-abortion advocates represented their views, carrying signs, drums, and bullhorns, as Jackson seeks to become the nation\u2019s first black female on the nation\u2019s highest court.\u201d<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">Notably, after Jackson was nominated, she received <span class=\"s1\">a <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.plannedparenthood.org\/about-us\/newsroom\/press-releases\/planned-parenthood-statement-on-nomination-of-judge-ketanji-brown-jackson-to-the-u-s-supreme-court\"><span class=\"s1\">statement<\/span><\/a>\u00a0of support from Alexis McGill Johnson, president and CEO of Planned Parenthood Federation of America.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p1\">\u201cWe celebrate the historic nomination of Judge Jackson to serve as a U.S. Supreme Court justice. Judge Jackson brings a wealth of knowledge, expertise, and meaningful experience after years of service as a federal judge on both the U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals for the D.C.
