Bill Hagerty told the Daily Caller. According to Durham\u2019s recent <a href=\"https:\/\/www.scribd.com\/document\/558517708\/558443477-Us-v-Sussmann-Government-s-Motion-to-Inquire-Into-Potential-Conflicts-of-Interest\">filings<\/a>, Rodney Joffe, an executive with the technology services company Neustar, used proprietary internet data to \u201c<span class=\"a\">establish \u2018an inference\u2019 <span class=\"l6\">and \u2018narrative\u2019 tying then-candidate Trump to Russia.\u201d Neustar had information technology services contracts with the White House, then-candidate Donald Trump\u2019s Manhattan residence, and Trump Tower.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span class=\"a\">Neustar provided Domain Name System (DNS) services, which allow computers to connect to websites, to the White House, Trump Tower, and Trump\u2019s private residence in 2016. Those services allowed Joffe to access the browsing history and connections of the Trump campaign, and allowed <\/span>Hillary Clinton\u2019s presidential campaign to <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2022\/02\/15\/poll-majority-democrats-hillary-clinton-investigated-methodology-problems\/\">push<\/a> a since-debunked story that a computer in Trump Tower was communicating with a computer in Moscow\u2019s Alfa Bank. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2020\/10\/08\/john-durham-alfa-bank-trump\/\">(RELATED: Report: Durham Using Grand Jury To Investigate Debunked Trump-Russia Connection)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe recent revelations from court filings in the Durham probe underscore the importance of ensuring that the government is not contracting with individuals who have improperly disclosed nonpublic information,\u201d Hagerty said in a statement. \u201cIt is common sense that we should protect taxpayer dollars and information from people who have previously violated the public trust and used government information for ulterior purposes.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><strong>Read the bill here:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a title=\"View Hagerty Leakers Bill on Scribd\" href=\"https:\/\/www.scribd.com\/document\/565914284\/Hagerty-Leakers-Bill#from_embed\">Hagerty Leakers Bill<\/a> by <a title=\"View Michael Ginsberg&#039;s profile on Scribd\" href=\"https:\/\/www.scribd.com\/user\/548087574\/Michael-Ginsberg#from_embed\">Michael Ginsberg<\/a> on Scribd<\/p>\n<p>The bill, co-sponsored with Tennessee Sen. Marsha Blackburn and Louisiana Sen.
