Among independents, only 24 percent approved of Biden. Sixty-six percent disapproved.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>The lack of support among independents for Biden is impacting battleground states where Republicans hope to defeat Democrats in November.<\/p>\n<p>In Georgia, a state where Donald Trump narrowly lost to Biden in 2020 by less than half a percent is polling poorly for the president. Only 32 percent of Georgians approved of Biden. Fifty-eight disapproved. Biden\u2019s approval rating in Georgia may greatly impact the race for governor. Radical Democrat candidate Stacey Abrams will likely be dragged down in her race against either Gov. Brian Kemp (R) or former Senator David Purdue.<\/p>\n<p>Sen. Fifty-eight percent disapproved. Biden\u2019s polling will likely impact\u00a0Sen.\u00a0<span class=\"rollover-people\">Mark Kelly\u2019s<\/span>\u00a0(D-AZ) reelection bid against likely Republican\u00a0Blake Masters.<\/p>\n<p>Nevada also has low approval ratings for Biden. Just 35 percent approved of Biden, while 58 percent disapproved. Sen.\u00a0Catherine Cortez Masto\u00a0(D-NV)\u00a0will have a tough time defending her\u00a0seat against likely\u00a0Republican and Trump endorsed challenger\u00a0Adam Laxalt with Biden\u2019s approval numbers so low.<\/p>\n<p>Biden\u2019s approval rating in Michigan is also terrible. Only 35 percent approved of Biden in the state with 57 disapproving. The key race that may be impacted the most in Michigan is the gubernatorial race. Gov. Fifty-seven disapproved.<\/p>\n<p>A number of highly contested seats may be impacted by Biden\u2019s low approval rating in Pennsylvania. The gubernatorial race is an open seat with\u00a0Gov.\u00a0Tom Wolf (D) term limited.
