You\u2019ll see part of the fascinating discussion Monday on Tucker Carlson Tonight at 8pm ET on Fox News. <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/5ZU9rIb5Vj\">pic.twitter.com\/5ZU9rIb5Vj<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 Tucker Carlson (@TuckerCarlson) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TuckerCarlson\/status\/1505285653457772552?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">March 19, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Carlson began by asking why Kid Rock believed that he hadn\u2019t been canceled yet \u2014 in spite of the fact that he had been a <a href=\"https:\/\/dailywire.com\/news\/every-opinion-has-a-millennial-offended-kid-rock-releases-expletive-laden-new-song-criticizing-wokeness\/\">vocal supporter<\/a> of former President Donald Trump and continued to <a href=\"https:\/\/dailywire.com\/news\/kid-rock-torches-fauci-biden-in-new-anti-biden-song-that-features-lets-go-brandon-chorus\/\">speak his mind<\/a> no matter what the people around him might think.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhy haven\u2019t you been canceled? Like, people aren\u2019t allowed to say what they think. You are,\u201d Carlson mused.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI am uncancelable,\u201d Kid Rock replied.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhy\u2019s that?\u201d Carlson pressed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI don\u2019t give a f***,\u201d Kid Rock said with a laugh, prompting a chuckle from Carlson as well.<\/p>\n<p>The musician went on to argue that because he remained fiercely independent \u2014 he did not have corporate sponsorship deals to protect or a record company telling him he had to toe the line \u2014 he had the freedom to say what he wanted without fear of repercussions.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m not in bed with any big corporate things at the end of the day,\u201d he explained. \u201cThere\u2019s nobody I\u2019m beholden to. No record companies, no corporate interests, no nothing. You can\u2019t cancel me. I love it when they try.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>And attempts have certainly been made to \u201ccancel\u201d Kid Rock. Just last year, in June of 2021, Billboard <a href=\"https:\/\/www.billboard.com\/music\/music-news\/kid-rock-controversies-timeline-9585206\/\">published a list<\/a> of the musician\u2019s infractions.<\/p>\n<p>Among them were:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>2004: He cut a hole in an American flag and then wore it as a poncho during the Super Bowl halftime show.<\/li>\n<li>2006: A sex tape was leaked featuring Kid Rock, Creed frontman Scott Stapp, and four women.<\/li>\n<li>2007: He engaged in a fistfight with Tommy Lee, ostensibly over their shared connection to former \u201cBaywatch\u201d bombshell Pamela Anderson.<\/li>\n<li>2011: He defended displaying the Confederate flag, saying that he had never done so \u201cwith hate in my heart.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>2015: He went hunting with rocker Ted Nugent and shot a cougar.<\/li>\n<li>2015: He verbally attacked director Michael Moore and actor Seth Rogen over comments about \u201cAmerican Sniper.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>2016: He criticized former San Francisco 49er Colin Kaepernick for kneeling during the national anthem.<\/li>\n<li>2016: He sold pro-Trump merchandise.<\/li>\n<li>2017: He made \u201ctransphobic\u201d comments, claiming that \u201cwhatever you have between your legs should determine the bathroom that you use.\u201d<\/li>\n<li>2018: He got booted from a Nashville Christmas parade for insulting \u201cThe View\u201d host Joy Behar: \u201cI\u00a0would say, love everybody \u2026 except screw that Joy Behar bi***.\u201d<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Despite all that, Kid Rock has continued to perform and create new music.
