At the time, Ratcliffe said, \u201cThis is not part of some Russian disinformation campaign.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>During the appearance, Ratcliffe also <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/clips\/2020\/10\/19\/dni-ratcliffe-hunter-bidens-laptop-is-not-part-of-some-russian-disinformation-campaign\/\">reacted<\/a> to House Intelligence Committee Chairman Rep. Adam Schiff\u2019s (D-CA) assertion that the laptop was part of a Russian disinformation campaign by stating, \u201cThe intelligence community doesn\u2019t believe that. Because there\u2019s no intelligence that supports that.\u201d And said, \u201cHunter Biden\u2019s laptop is not part of some Russian disinformation campaign, and I think it\u2019s clear that the American people know that.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>Ratcliffe\u2019s assertions were\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/2020-election\/2020\/10\/21\/mike-pompeo-every-reason-to-believe-hunter-biden-reports-arent-russian-disinformation\/\">defended<\/a> by then-Secretary of State Mike Pompeo, who <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/jseldin\/status\/1318933935007633410\">said<\/a> he had \u201cevery reason to believe [Ratcliffe\u2019s] got it exactly right.\u201d And\u00a0FBI Assistant Director for Congressional Affairs Jill C.
