Darrell Issa (@repdarrellissa) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/repdarrellissa\/status\/1504640443513978880?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">March 18, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>The <em>New York Post<\/em> first\u00a0<a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2020\/10\/14\/email-reveals-how-hunter-biden-introduced-ukrainian-biz-man-to-dad\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">reported<\/a>\u00a0on Hunter Biden\u2019s laptop in October 2020, just weeks before the election. The laptop revealed Hunter Biden\u2019s involvement in pursuing lucrative overseas business deals.<\/p>\n<p>According to the\u00a0<a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2022\/03\/17\/hunter-bidens-infamous-laptop-confirmed-in-new-york-times-report\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><em>Post<\/em><\/a>:<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<blockquote>\n<p>The laptop\u2019s hard drive contained a trove of emails, text messages, photos and financial documents between Hunter Biden, his family and business associates \u2014 detailing how the president\u2019s son used his political leverage in his overseas business dealings.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Despite the massive story involving President Joe Biden\u2019s son, the corporate media stayed silent and big tech engaged in a massive censorship campaign to prevent the reports from spreading.<\/p>\n<p>Corporate media attempted to link the story to Russian intelligence, and some organizations flat out ignored the story. NPR notoriously\u00a0<a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.bostonherald.com\/2020\/10\/25\/npr-defines-hunter-biden-news-as-a-waste-of-time\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">said<\/a>, \u201cWe don\u2019t want to waste our time on stories that are not really stories, and we don\u2019t want to waste the listeners\u2019 and readers\u2019 time on stories that are just pure distractions.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Twitter even went so far as to shut down the <em>New York Post\u2019<\/em>s\u00a0<a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2020\/12\/10\/media-disgraceful-trying-to-suppress-posts-hunter-biden-reporting\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">account<\/a>\u00a0when the <em>Post<\/em> released the report.<\/p>\n<p>More than one year into Joe Biden\u2019s presidency, corporate media now admits the authenticity of Hunter Biden\u2019s laptop. A <em>New York Times<\/em> story released Wednesday about the ongoing federal investigation into Hunter Biden\u00a0<a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2022\/03\/16\/us\/politics\/hunter-biden-tax-bill-investigation.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">said<\/a>, \u201cThe email and others in the cache were authenticated by people familiar with them and with the investigation.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Issa\u2019s call for a congressional investigation into big tech and corporate media\u2019s handling of the Hunter Biden laptop story comes just days after Issa announced Congressional Republicans are \u201cpreparing\u201d for a legion of \u201cwatchdogs\u201d to \u201chold this President accountable in an exclusive\u00a0<a class=\"editor-rtfLink\" href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2022\/03\/15\/exclusive-darrell-issa-we-are-preparing-legion-of-gop-watchdogs-to-hold-this-president-accountable\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">interview<\/a>\u00a0with Breitbart News.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou\u2019ve got to believe that Congress\u2019s other duties pale in comparison to being a watchdog,\u201d Issa told Breitbart News.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Rep.
