Educators must analyze how math &#8220;is used to uphold capitalist, imperialist, and racist views.&#8221; Teachers are also encouraged to create a &#8220;mathematical identity&#8221; so that students &#8220;can see themselves as mathematicians&#8221; and adopt homework policies that address the needs of minority students. Class worksheets ask teachers to describe antiracist qualities they should develop during the school year.<\/p>\n<p>The course sets different goals for each month of the school year. In November, teachers are asked to consider how they &#8220;authentically&#8221; include minority and multilingual students in math class.
