Moscow roundly <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rferl.org\/a\/russia-rejects-icj-war-ruling\/31757644.html\">ignored<\/a> the globalist organization and continued fighting anyway.<\/p>\n<p>Two weeks ago, Ukraine approached the International Court of Justice (ICJ) \u2013 also known as the World Court \u2013 to intervene, arguing Russia violated the 1948 Genocide Convention by falsely accusing Ukraine of committing genocide and using that as a pretext for the ongoing invasion.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>The ICJ resolves legal complaints submitted by states over alleged breaches of international law. It is the supreme judicial institution of the United Nations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe Russian Federation shall immediately suspend the special military operations it commenced on 24 February 2022,\u201d the court\u2019s president, U.S. judge Joan E.
