Seven Republicans in the Senate, however, broke ranks with their colleagues to vote with the Democrats \u2014 much to the ire of their constituents.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>As President Trump\u2019s legal team<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=z-h_Ju1wUww\"><span>noted<\/span><\/a> <span>during the Senate trial, a closer look at the impeachment charges would reveal that many prominent Democrats could be impeached under the same standards.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Here are seven examples.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Nancy Pelosi<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span>In June of 2018, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi (D-CA)<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.realclearpolitics.com\/video\/2018\/06\/14\/pelosi_i_dont_even_know_why_there_arent_uprisings_all_over_the_country_over_migrant_child_separation.html\"><span>suggested<\/span><\/a> <span>that \u201cuprisings\u201d should occur in response to the practice of separating illegal immigrant children from their guardians.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cFirst of all, this was an act of the administration. They had been planning this for a while,\u201d Pelosi commented at a press conference. \u201cI just don\u2019t even know why there aren\u2019t uprisings all over the country. And maybe there will be, when people realize that this is a policy that they defend.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>More recently, the congresswoman claimed that Republicans are \u201cenemies of the state\u201d due to their suspicion of mail-in ballots.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cWe take an oath to protect and defend the Constitution from all enemies, foreign and domestic.&nbsp; And, sadly, the domestic enemies to our voting system and honoring our Constitution are right at 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue with their allies in the Congress of the United States,\u201d she<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nationalreview.com\/news\/press-ignores-pelosis-enemies-of-the-state-comment-after-casting-trumps-similar-remarks-as-an-existential-threat\/\"><span>declared<\/span><\/a> <span>in August of 2020.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Chuck Schumer<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span>Though his party claimed that President Trump incited an attack against a coequal branch of the federal government, Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer (D-NY) used inflammatory rhetoric toward the judiciary branch within the past year.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Sen. Schumer<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnn.com\/2020\/03\/04\/politics\/schumer-roberts-threats-supreme-court\/index.html\"><span>threatened<\/span><\/a> <span>Trump-appointed Supreme Court Justices Neil Gorsuch and Brett Kavanaugh during a pro-abortion event in early 2020.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cI want to tell you, Gorsuch. I want to tell you, Kavanaugh. You have released the whirlwind and you will pay the price. You won\u2019t know what hit you if you go forward with these awful decisions,\u201d said the Democrat in front of the Supreme Court building.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The statement provoked an extraordinarily rare rebuke from Chief Justice John Roberts.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cJustices know that criticism comes with the territory, but threatening statements of this sort from the highest levels of government are not only inappropriate, they are dangerous,\u201d said Roberts. \u201cAll Members of the Court will continue to do their job, without fear or favor, from whatever quarter.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Maxine Waters<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span>During a 2018 stump speech, Rep. Maxine Waters (D-CA) encouraged supporters to harass members of the Trump administration.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cIf you see anybody from that Cabinet in a restaurant, in a department store, at a gasoline station, you get out and you create a crowd and you push back on them, and you tell them they\u2019re not welcome anymore, anywhere,\u201d<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nbcnews.com\/politics\/politics-news\/rep-waters-draws-criticism-saying-trump-officials-should-be-harassed-n886311\"><span>exclaimed<\/span><\/a> <span>Waters.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Days earlier, senior Trump officials \u2014 including Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Nielsen, Press Secretary Sarah Sanders, and senior adviser Stephen Miller \u2014 faced angry protesters and were removed from DC-area restaurants.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Joe Biden<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span>Democrats claimed that Trump\u2019s admonition to \u201cfight like hell\u201d served as an incitement to violence following his January 6 speech. However, the current President of the United States also uses the phrase \u201cfight like hell\u201d while addressing supporters.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>The Republicans on the House Judiciary Committee pointed out that Biden used the phrase at least once during his most recent presidential campaign.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cThat\u2019s why I\u2019ve spent my whole career fighting \u2014 and I will continue to fight \u2014 like hell so that no one ever has to make that walk again,\u201d<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/JudiciaryGOP\/status\/1359591283656974338\"><span>tweeted<\/span><\/a> <span>Biden in reference to his father walking upstairs to tell his family that they would be moving in search of better economic opportunities.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cIncitement?\u201d quipped the House Judiciary Republicans.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Jamie Raskin&nbsp;<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span>Other Democrats \u2014 including lead House impeachment manager Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) \u2014 also employ the phrase \u201cfight like hell\u201d in political contexts.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cThe GOP rush to replace Justice Ginsburg is all about destroying the Affordable Care Act, women\u2019s health care and reproductive freedom, and the voting rights and civil rights of the people,\u201d<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/RepRaskin\/status\/1308773108392898569\"><span>tweeted<\/span><\/a> <span>Rep. Raskin after the former Justice\u2019s death in September of 2020. \u201cWe must fight like hell to stop this assault on health care and the Constitution.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>In his February 13 speech, however, Rep. Raskin berated Trump for using the exact same phrase.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cWhen he took the stage on January 6, he knew exactly how combustible the situation was. He knew there were many people in the crowd who were ready to jump into action, to engage in violence, at any signal that he needed them to fight like hell to stop the steal,\u201d<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rev.com\/blog\/transcripts\/rep-jamie-raskin-closing-argument-in-2nd-trump-impeachment-trial-february-13-transcript\"><span>said<\/span><\/a> <span>Rep. Raskin. \u201cAnd that\u2019s exactly what he told them to do.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Kamala Harris<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span>The current Vice President of the United States often uses rhetoric that could be interpreted as an incitement of violence.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>As nationwide riots following the death of George Floyd caused dozens of deaths and billions in property damage, then-Senator Kamala Harris<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/flashback-kamala-harris-nationwide-protests-not-going-to-stop\"><span>discussed<\/span><\/a> <span>the phenomenon with comedian Stephen Colbert.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cThey\u2019re not going to stop,\u201d Harris asserted in the June 17 interview. \u201cThis is a movement, I\u2019m telling you. They\u2019re not going to stop and everyone beware, because they\u2019re not going to stop. They\u2019re not going to stop before Election Day in November and they\u2019re not going to stop after Election Day. Everyone should take note of that on both levels. They\u2019re not going to let up and they should not and we should not.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Days earlier, Harris<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/KamalaHarris\/status\/1267555018128965643?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1267555018128965643%7Ctwgr%5Eshare_3&amp;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fdailycaller.com%2F2020%2F09%2F16%2Fkamala-harris-minnesota-bail-fund-accused-sexual-assault-child%2F\"><span>encouraged<\/span><\/a> <span>her followers to support the Minnesota Freedom Fund \u2014 an effort to provide bail money for criminals arrested during the Minneapolis riots. Later reports<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/dailycaller.com\/2020\/09\/22\/minnesota-freedom-fund-bail-charity-kamala-harris-domestic-abusers\/\"><span>revealed<\/span><\/a> <span>that funds were also allocated to free domestic abusers from jail.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>Hillary Clinton<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span>Hillary Clinton \u2014 former First Lady, Senator from New York, and Secretary of State \u2014 would likewise be liable to the Democrats\u2019 impeachment charges, as she has suggested on multiple occasions that she lost to President Trump as a result of election fraud.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>During a 2019 speech in Los Angeles, Clinton said that the presidential election was \u201cstolen\u201d from her, earning cheers and applause from her audience.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cI think it\u2019s also critical to understand that, as I\u2019ve been telling candidates who have come to see me, you can run the best campaign, you can even become the nominee, and you can have the election stolen from you,\u201d<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/politics\/hillary-clinton-election-stolen\"><span>said<\/span><\/a> <span>Clinton.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>During a podcast interview in 2020, Clinton<\/span> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thegatewaypundit.com\/2020\/10\/hillary-clinton-whines-birthday-candidate-trump-basically-stole-election\/\"><span>insisted<\/span><\/a> <span>that the Trump campaign benefited from voter suppression and Russian interference during the 2016 presidential race.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cI think that Trump and a lot of the people around him know that his victory was not on the up and up. They had an extensive campaign to suppress black voters,\u201d alleged Clinton. \u201cWe now know much more about that than we did.
