It is not related to the ongoing conflict in Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p><span><strong>Fact Check:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Ukrainian officials claim to have destroyed 353 Russian tanks and 1,165 armored vehicles as of March 10, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.newsweek.com\/how-many-tanks-has-russia-lost-ukraine-1687207\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Newsweek<\/a>. Several videos have spread online showing the Ukrainian military destroying Russian vehicles, including one shared by <a href=\"https:\/\/www.businessinsider.com\/video-ukraine-amphibious-vehicle-destroys-russian-armor-in-mariupol-2022-3\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Business Insider<\/a> that appears to show a Ukrainian armored vehicle destroying a Russian tank.<\/p>\n<p>A seven-minute video shared on Facebook, which has over 2.8 million views, claims to show an aerial view of Russian military vehicles being destroyed by an unidentified aircraft. \u201cSee pictures of many destroyed Russian military aircraft and tanks,\u201d the text accompanying the video reads, suggesting the footage is from Ukraine. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2022\/02\/24\/fact-check-russian-airplane-struck-ukraine\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Does This Video Show A Russian Fighter Jet Being Shot Down In Ukraine?)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The video does not show genuine footage of Russian armor being destroyed in Ukraine. A keyword search found that it actually shows gameplay from <a href=\"https:\/\/arma3.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">ARMA 3<\/a>, a military-style video game published by Bohemia Interactive. The video was posted on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=AHQQbSLPkqc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">YouTube<\/a> in August 2021 with the title \u201cEnemy Convoy Destroyed By Apache Helicopter \u2013 AH-64D APACHE LONGBOW \u2013 Fallujah \u2013 ARMA 3 MilSim.\u201d<\/p>\n[embedded content]\n<p>The YouTube video contains a watermark in the upper right-hand corner reading \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/channel\/UCx2kYX4mAWGuESzy15RC04A\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Defence Review<\/a>,\u201d which is the name of the YouTube channel that posted it. The Facebook video has been cropped to remove the watermark.<\/p>\n<p>This is not the first time social media users have claimed footage from Arma 3 is genuine combat footage.
