An editor for the publication said it did not broadcast the film scene.<\/p>\n<p><span><strong>Fact Check:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Fighting in Ukraine has reportedly made humanitarian evacuations \u201cextremely difficult,\u201d especially near the city of Kyiv, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/world-europe-60721323\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">BBC News<\/a>. Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said half the city\u2019s residents have fled, Al Jazeera <a href=\"https:\/\/www.aljazeera.com\/news\/2022\/3\/10\/half-of-kyiv-population-has-fled-says-ukrainian-capitals-mayor\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\" data-saferedirecturl=\"https:\/\/www.google.com\/url?q=https:\/\/www.aljazeera.com\/news\/2022\/3\/10\/half-of-kyiv-population-has-fled-says-ukrainian-capitals-mayor&#038;source=gmail&#038;ust=1647110011793000&#038;usg=AOvVaw00UMrDCq6zwqq37tfS0Q19\">reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>A post shared on Facebook shows two copies of the same picture of a traffic jam on a highway. The first picture is labeled \u201cescape from Kiev,\u201d and features <a href=\"https:\/\/www.tgcom24.mediaset.it\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">TGCOM24\u2019s logo<\/a> and an Italian flag emoji in the upper right-hand corner, while the second image labels the scene as \u201cMovie Deep Impact.\u201d The post appears to be suggesting the Italian news outlet lifted a scene from the movie and attempted to pass it off as showing the situation in Kyiv.<\/p>\n<p>The image in both instances is indeed from the 1998 movie \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.imdb.com\/title\/tt0120647\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Deep Impact<\/a>\u201d and can be found on the stock photo website <a href=\"https:\/\/www.alamy.com\/stock-photo-deep-impact-1998-29122958.html?irclickid=zq5QK9RMixyIRBs3f2zLu1xeUkGWlG0eizieSk0&#038;irgwc=1&#038;utm_source=77643&#038;utm_campaign=Shop%20Royalty%20Free%20at%20Alamy&#038;utm_medium=impact\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Alamy<\/a>. However, there is no evidence to suggest TGCOM24 ever aired or published the image.
