Your information will not be shared with or sold to 3rd parties.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>I say tragic, but perhaps it\u2019s not quite the best term here.<\/p>\n<p>Hall had his demons.<\/p>\n<p>He admittedly killed a man, before his professional wrestling career began. This was said to be in self defense, and no charges were brought-however, Hall stated he never forgot the incident.<\/p>\n<p>Over much of his career, he was a bad guy, and not just The Bad Guy.<\/p>\n<p>Hall had issues with drugs and alcohol, as many of his peers have had. There were also run-ins with the law.<\/p>\n<p>All tragic, and all out there for us all to discuss. But most importantly, those were all in his past.<\/p>\n<p>Hall reformed himself and got sober. The Hall of Famer got clean due to help received from many, including<a href=\"https:\/\/www.themix.net\/2022\/03\/ddp-offers-help-to-big-e-nxt-talent-on-main-roster-radar\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Diamond Dallas Page.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>So, Hall triumphed\u2026he beat his demons and was on the up and up.<\/p>\n<p>And then tragedy returned.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_344511\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-344511\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-344511\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">source: @troydan, twitter, screenshot<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Earlier in the year, Hall suffered a fall and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.themix.net\/2022\/03\/scott-hall-in-hospital-samoa-joe-confirms-nxt-injury\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">broke his hip<\/a>. The break required surgery.<\/p>\n<p>Blood clots are a dangerous complication from surgical procedures. Unfortunately, Hall suffered one.<\/p>\n<p>As a result of the blood clot, he <a href=\"https:\/\/www.themix.net\/2022\/03\/scott-hall-on-life-support-corey-graves-wwe-in-ring-return\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">suffered three heart attacks<\/a> and, over the weekend, was placed on life support.<\/p>\n<p>After evaluation, his family recognized that he was gone, and made the heart-wrenching decision to take the former Superstar off of life support.<\/p>\n<p>Considering all Hall endured, it\u2019s just a sad ending. But, some find it better to hold on to the great memories, so that\u2019s where we are heading.<\/p>\n<p>Scott Hall was one of the Superstars I grew up watching, so I certainly have good memories. With that in mind, here are my fondest, both of Razor Ramon and, later, Scott Hall.<\/p>\n<h3>Scott Hall In WrestleMania X: The Ladder Match.<\/h3>\n<p>This one probably doesn\u2019t need any real explanation. I mean, you can say \u201cthe ladder match\u201d to fans of that era, and there is little to no doubt, this is the match you mean.<\/p>\n<p>Hall and<a href=\"https:\/\/www.themix.net\/2022\/01\/wwe-high-on-shawn-michaels-nxt-work-brian-kendrick-wants-release\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> Shawn Michaels<\/a> battled in arguably the greatest ladder match in history. The prize for Hall when he won, was becoming the undisputed Intercontinental Champion.<\/p>\n<p>There might be better ladder matches, but I am convinced-if you saw this one live, you measure all ladder matches after it against it. I do, and it remains, three decades later, the standard by which I measure all other ladder matches.<\/p>\n<h3>Forms\u00a0The nWo.<\/h3>\n<p>Hall didn\u2019t do this one alone, but the emergence of the nWo was one of the biggest wrestling happenings ever.<\/p>\n<p>The group was significantly responsible for WCW dominating <a href=\"http:\/\/wwe.com\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">WWE<\/a> in the Monday Night War for over a year. And, we could also say, that because of the nWo, we got the emergence of the WWE Attitude Era.<\/p>\n<p>Which kind of means, in a way, that Scott Hall helped us enjoy Austin, The Rock and others. The competition created by WCW, driven by the nWo, pushed WWE.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>So, thanks Scott for that.<\/p>\n<h3>Never Was World Champion.<\/h3>\n<p>OK, this one isn\u2019t a fond memory. But it is a memory, and sort of a tragic one.<\/p>\n<p>Scott Hall is certainly one of the best Intercontinental Champions ever. He worked in one of the best Intercontinental Championship matches ever.<\/p>\n<p>The Hall of Famer has serious credentials. But there is one he never got.<\/p>\n<p>While the bigger Kilq members had numerous title reigns-HBK, Nash and HHH all held the big belts-Hall never did.<\/p>\n<p>He goes down as one of many all-time greats who, for whatever reason, were never deemed worthy of, or needing, a world championship reign.<\/p>\n<p>Some Superstars could be bothered by that\u2026some might even get upset and storm off. If it bothered Hall, I don\u2019t recall it becoming an issue.<\/p>\n<p>In WWE, he thrived in the IC title scene.
