The appeal was meant to be heard on April 19. <\/p>\n<p>She has been at the Orange County Correctional Facility in Goshen, NY, since March 25 for allegedly overstaying her visa.<\/p>\n<p>She\u2019s reportedly due to appear on the \u201cCall Her Daddy\u201d podcast on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>Last month, Sorokin \u2014\u00a0whose life and crimes are glamorized in the Netflix hit \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.netflix.com\/title\/81008305\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"nofollow noreferrer noopener\">Inventing Anna<\/a>\u201d \u2014 and three other ICE detainees sued federal immigration authorities after <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2022\/03\/02\/anna-sorokin-got-covid-after-ice-refused-booster-suit\/\">getting COVID-19 while in custody<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>Sorokin tested positive for the virus on Jan. 19, weeks after she submitted a written request for a follow-up vaccine dose that went unanswered, according to the complaint filed in federal court by the ACLU.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/03\/anna-delvey-deported-01.jpg?quality=90&#038;strip=all\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1024\" height=\"1024\" src=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/03\/anna-delvey-deported-01.jpg?quality=90&#038;strip=all&#038;w=1024\" alt=\"Sorokin is set to be deported Monday night back to Germany after fighting extradition.\" class=\"wp-image-21522169\" srcset=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/03\/anna-delvey-deported-01.jpg?quality=90&#038;strip=all&#038;w=1536 1536w, https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/03\/anna-delvey-deported-01.jpg?quality=90&#038;strip=all 1024w, https:\/\/nypost.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/2\/2022\/03\/anna-delvey-deported-01.jpg?quality=90&#038;strip=all&#038;w=512 512w\" \/><\/a><figcaption>Sorokin is set to be deported Monday night to Germany after fighting extradition.<\/figcaption><figcaption><span class=\"credit\">Anna Delvey\/Instagram<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The plaintiffs claimed that ICE violated their constitutional rights as medically vulnerable people by ignoring their booster requests.<\/p>\n<p>Sorokin came to New York City in 2013 to set up a high-end members-only arts club, according to her former defense attorney Todd Spodek, but things spiraled out of control.<\/p>\n<p>She claimed to be an heiress named Anna Delvey. In reality, Anna Sorokin was born in Domodedovo, a working-class town southeast of Moscow. Her father, Vadim Sorokin, worked as a truck driver, while her mother owned a small convenience store. The family moved to Germany in 2007, when Sorokin was 16.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><a dark, twisted mind.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>She ended up <a href=\"https:\/\/nypost.com\/2017\/07\/31\/wannabe-socialite-busted-for-skipping-out-on-pricey-hotel-bills\/\">swindling new friends and various businesses<\/a>, including some of NYC\u2019s top hotels, out of $275,000 during a 10-month spree.<\/p>\n<p>A Manhattan jury convicted her on one count of attempted grand larceny, three counts of grand larceny and four counts of theft services.<\/p>\n<p>She spent nearly four years in prison before being <a already told you I own this lawless f\u2013king city.\u201d The account also featured photos of her drinking champagne from a claw-foot tub and living it up.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnna was only out for a few weeks before ICE scooped her up,\u201d Davis told The Post last month. \u201cShe was very sarcastic on Instagram \u2026 I think they were watching her.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey told her that her visa had expired, but, instead of being deported, Anna \u2014 being Anna \u2014 said, \u2018I\u2019m going to fight this.\u2019 She thought it would be a quick fight.
