People do it so many times. I did it one time and I was like, I\u2019m gonna die. This is awful,\u201d Schumer told Handler.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cI got like 31 eggs and I was like, I\u2019m Fertile Myrtle. I felt very hot,\u201d the comedian continued. \u201cAnd then the drop off after fertilization, we only got one normal embryo and we tried and it didn\u2019t work \u2026 and now I don\u2019t have a uterus.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>\u201cSo we\u2019re gonna have just one child and we\u2019re just enjoying our little family and I\u2019m just focusing on that,\u201d she continued, referencing Gene. \u201cI\u2019m excited about it but I was sad. And it\u2019s not really something you get sympathy for because it\u2019s like, you already have one b****, shut up. But you know, that\u2019s a real struggle people go through.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>She added, \u201cWe tried, but yeah we\u2019re just gonna have the one perfect little adorable angel.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Schumer had previously shared bluntly with her 11 million Instagram followers about the process of doing IVF to have another baby. The actress shared an image of her bruised abdomen in 2020, captioning it, \u201cI\u2019m a week into IVF and feeling really run down and emotional. We are freezing my eggs and figuring out what to do to give Gene a sibling.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span>Schumer and her husband Chris Fischer had their first baby in May 2019 after an extremely difficult pregnancy. The \u201cI Feel Pretty\u201d star was hospitalized with hyperemesis gravidarum, a form of acute morning sickness that can cause dehydration and other issues.
