Mo Brooks (R-AL), who is running for Alabama\u2019s open Senate seat, says President Joe Biden is \u201cabsolutely in violation\u201d of the United States Constitution by failing to protect states from the \u201cinvasion\u201d at the U.S.-Mexico border.<\/p>\n<p>During an exclusive interview with SiriusXM Patriot\u2019s <em>Breitbart News Saturday<\/em>, Brooks detailed his <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2022\/03\/11\/watch-mo-brooks-shows-illegal-aliens-being-welcomed-at-southern-border\/\">recent trip<\/a> to the border where he witnessed federal immigration officials effectively welcoming border crossers and illegal aliens to the U.S. by loading them on buses before taking them to a processing site, where most are likely to be released into the nation\u2019s interior.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p><strong>LISTEN:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere is no border security,\u201d Brooks said.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cIt is outrageous and in my judgment, it violates Article 4 Section 4 of the United States Constitution that requires the federal government to protect states from an invasion \u2026 most people think of [an invasion] as an armed force like an army. Nope, that\u2019s not what the word \u2018invasion\u2019 means, it\u2019s not so limited,\u201d Brooks continued. \u201cIt includes the illegal activity that we\u2019re seeing on our southern border and Joe Biden is absolutely in violation of Article 4 Section 4 of the United States Constitution.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Brooks said border states ought to \u201cstart enforcing their own border and declare the federal government and the president in violation of its contractual agreement \u2026 to defend these states from invasion.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Such a case, Brooks said, would go to the Supreme Court where he said border states would likely prevail in their case against the federal government. On a national level, Brooks said Americans must oppose Democrats and \u201cwimpy Republicans\u201d who are backed by corporate special interests.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019ve elected people who on the one hand, the political power from importing all of these folks by and large on welfare \u2026 and so that\u2019s a made-for Democrat vote,\u201d Brooks said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd on the other hand, we have special interest groups who are paying tens of millions of dollars to elect wimpy Republicans in Republican primaries \u2014 people who will be for open borders and will say nothing about importing cheap foreign labor no matter how much damage it does to destroy American families,\u201d Brooks continued.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>Among those Republicans, Brooks said, is one of his Alabama Republican Senate primary opponents \u2014 Katie Britt.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe open borders, special interest groups around America, they have looked at the six candidates running for Senate in Alabama and they have chosen Katie Britt as the weakest on border security,\u201d Brooks said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThey are investing millions, if not tens of millions of dollars, on trying to get an open borders, cheap foreign labor candidate elected to the U.S. Senate and they have chosen Katie Britt as that candidate,\u201d he continued.<\/p>\n<p>Britt, the\u00a0former president and CEO of the U.S. Chamber of Commerce\u2019s Business Council of Alabama, recently held <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2022\/03\/08\/alabamas-katie-britt-surrounds-herself-with-never-trumpers-allies-of-anti-trump-former-sen-bob-corker\/\">a fundraiser<\/a> filled with associates of the failed \u201cNever Trump\u201d movement. Donald Trump Jr.,\u00a0<a class=\"x5l\" href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/DonaldJTrumpJr\/status\/1398405799605522432?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1398405799605522432%7Ctwgr%5E%7Ctwcon%5Es1_&#038;ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.breitbart.com%2Fpolitics%2F2021%2F05%2F29%2Fthe-alabama-liz-cheney-chamber-of-commerce-lobbyist-mulls-senate-bid-against-trump-backed-mo-brooks%2F\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener external\">previously called<\/a>\u00a0her \u201cthe Alabama Liz Cheney.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The Republican primary in the race is on May 24.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em>John Binder is a reporter for Breitbart News.
