In response to inflation at that time, Biden told the general public that passing his &#8220;Build Back Better&#8221; plan was the solution to inflation.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section data-v-5e19d842=\"\">\n<figure class=\"kg-card kg-embed-card\">\n<blockquote class=\"twitter-tweet\" data-width=\"550\">\n<p lang=\"en\" dir=\"ltr\">Biden: &#8220;Inflation is up&#8221; <a href=\"https:\/\/t.co\/udlxKhiCL2\">pic.twitter.com\/udlxKhiCL2<\/a><\/p>\n<p>\u2014 The Post Millennial (@TPostMillennial) <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TPostMillennial\/status\/1491838044877606919?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw\">February 10, 2022<\/a><\/p><\/blockquote>\n<\/figure>\n<\/section>\n<section data-v-5e19d842=\"\">\n<p>At least one reporter today <a href=\"https:\/\/thepostmillennial.com\/watch-doocy-asks-if-white-house-is-going-to-blame-putin-for-everything-until-the-midterms\">asked<\/a> the Biden administration if their strategy for 2022 is &#8220;&#8230;blaming Putin for everything until the midterms?&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section data-v-5e19d842=\"\">\n<p>When pressed about it by Peter Doocy of Fox News, White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki <a href=\"https:\/\/twitter.com\/TPostMillennial\/status\/1501988324336189448\">said<\/a> they rely on the Federal Reserve and &#8220;outside analysts&#8221; to make assessments on things like how long will inflation last.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section data-v-5e19d842=\"\">\n<p>&#8220;Their assessment at this point continues to be that it will moderate by the end of the year,&#8221; Psaki\u2019s responded.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section data-v-5e19d842=\"\">\n<p>However, as Fox News later <a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxbusiness.com\/politics\/treasury-secretary-yellen-likely-another-year-inflation\">pointed<\/a> out, Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen said in an interview that Americans can expect a likely full 12-month period of &#8220;uncomfortably high&#8221; inflation going forward.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section data-v-5e19d842=\"\">\n<p>Inflation in the United States <a href=\"https:\/\/thepostmillennial.com\/inflation-hits-highest-point-in-nearly-four-decades\">hit the highest point<\/a> in four decades back in December 2021. Now America\u2019s inflation outpaces countries such as Mexico.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section data-v-5e19d842=\"\">\n<p>Thursday\u2019s news came amid calls from state officials like Florida Governor Ron DeSantis, who on Tuesday <a href=\"https:\/\/thepostmillennial.com\/ron-desantis-demands-biden-increase-domestic-energy-and-work-for-energy-independence\/\">urged<\/a> the Biden administration to channel their attention and focus on increasing domestic energy production. As for that issue, the White House\u2019s current strategy this week <a href=\"https:\/\/thepostmillennial.com\/oil-industry-leaders-accuse-white-house-misleading-domestic-energy-production-issues\/\">amounted<\/a> to pinning the blame on Putin and oil industry leaders, instead.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section data-v-5e19d842=\"\">\n<p>This is despite the messaging of the Biden administration in 2021 against the use of fossil fuels and encouraging renewable energy infrastructure.
