The music video does not feature Zelenskyy or mention Ukraine at any point.<\/p>\n<p><span><strong>Fact Check:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Zelenskyy, a former comedian and actor, was elected to the Ukrainian presidency in 2019, winning 73 percent of the vote, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.bbc.com\/news\/world-europe-48007487\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">BBC News<\/a>. Before becoming president, he was known for his role in the television series \u201cServant of the People\u201d and for voicing the lead character in the Ukrainian dub of the film \u201cPaddington,\u201d Deadline <a href=\"https:\/\/deadline.com\/2022\/02\/volodymyr-zelensky-paddington-bear-dancing-with-the-stars-ukranian-president-1234961649\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">reported<\/a>. Despite his career as a comedian, Zelenskyy has been praised for his use of social media during the ongoing Russian invasion of Ukraine, the Associated Press <a href=\"https:\/\/apnews.com\/article\/russia-ukraine-volodymyr-zelenskyy-entertainment-media-social-media-896ac1afc240fdf349c0d4c96d5e2afc\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The Facebook video, which has been viewed over 700 times, shows two individuals singing Richie\u2019s song \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.lyrics.com\/lyric\/25928500\/Lionel+Richie\/Endless+Love\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Endless Love<\/a>.\u201d The caption claims it features the \u201cUkrainian President and his beautiful wife during happier times.\u201d <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2019\/07\/30\/fact-check-ivanka-trump-swastika-logo\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: No, Ivanka Trump Didn\u2019t Wear A Shirt With A Swastika-Like Trump Logo)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>However, the video does not feature Zelenskyy or his wife. A keyword search revealed the video is from the band <a href=\"https:\/\/www.boyceavenue.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Boyce Avenue<\/a> and features Manzano and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.connietalbot.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Talbot<\/a> performing a cover of \u201cEndless Love.\u201d The video was shared on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=Sv8XHiTkDYg\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">YouTube<\/a>\u00a0Feb. 20, just days before Russia launched its invasion of Ukraine.<\/p>\n[embedded content]\n<p>This is not the first time Zelenskyy and his wife have been the subject of online misinformation.
