There is no evidence the footage was taken in Ukraine or that the equipment was bound for Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p><span><strong>Fact Check:<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p>Multiple NATO countries have shipped weapons, anti-tank missiles and other equipment to Ukraine as the country continues to fend off a Russian invasion, according to <a href=\"https:\/\/www.nytimes.com\/2022\/03\/02\/world\/europe\/nato-weapons-ukraine-russia.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">The New York Times<\/a>. The U.S. is planning to send at least $10 billion in additional military and humanitarian aid to Ukraine, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.voanews.com\/a\/6472487.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">VOA<\/a> reported.<\/p>\n<p>A video shared on Facebook shows a train carrying armored military vehicles and other supplies. The post\u2019s caption reads, \u201cFROM NATO WITH LOVE TO UKRAINE,\u201d implying that the shipment is from NATO and bound for Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p>The video predates the Russian invasion of Ukraine and was not taken in Europe. The letters \u201cCN\u201d are visible on the front and the side of the first few cars, which is the logo for the <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cn.ca\/en\/about-cn\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Canadian National Railway Company<\/a>. <a href=\"https:\/\/cnebusiness.geomapguide.ca\/?MAP=WL\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">Maps<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/cnebusiness.geomapguide.ca\/?map=TL&#038;lang=en\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">posted<\/a> <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cn.ca\/en\/our-services\/maps-and-network\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">on<\/a> the company\u2019s website show that its rail connections are limited to North America. CN does not have any trains in Europe.<\/p>\n<p>A reverse image search found that the video was originally shared on <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=mQCRXudN-Wo\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">YouTube<\/a> in 2012 by user astro955 with the title, \u201cCN 2235, CN 8803 \u2013 Ultra Rare Canadian Military Train \u2013 Westbound \u2013 Lovekin, ON.\u201d<\/p>\n[embedded content]\n<p>\u201cRare sighting of CN 2235 &#038; 8803 moving a large division of the Canadian Armed Forces ground force equipment and some empty autocars westbound,\u201d reads the video\u2019s description. <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/checkyourfact.com\/2022\/03\/03\/fact-check-russia-ukraine-india-cnn\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener noreferrer\">(RELATED: Did CNN Report That Vladimir Putin Warned India Against Interfering In The Invasion Of Ukraine?)<\/a><\/strong><\/p>\n<p>This is not the first time video of a train carrying military equipment has been incorrectly linked to the ongoing war in Ukraine.
