Jim Jordan (R-OH) is demanding answers from the National School Boards Association (NSBA) regarding its \u201ccollusion\u201d with the Biden administration to use federal law enforcement to investigate parents attending school board meetings as \u201cdomestic terrorists.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In a letter obtained exclusively by Breitbart News, Jordan \u2014 who is the ranking member of the House Judiciary Committee \u2014 points out that the NSBA\u2019s original letter to President Joe Biden prompted a \u201crapid and stunning response \u2026 that culminated in a directive from the Attorney General for federal law enforcement to monitor school board matters.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"D-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B1\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<figure id=\"gmxrevmore\" class=\"H\"><\/figure>\n<p>Jordan also pointed out in the letter that the NSBA and Biden administration sought to manufacture a reason for federal law enforcement to go after parents, saying, \u201cWe still have concerns about the NSBA\u2019s collusion with the Biden Administration to <strong>develop a pretext for invoking federal law enforcement to intimidate and silence parents<\/strong>.\u201d [Emphasis added].<\/p>\n<p>The Ohio Republican has previously <a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/12\/08\/exclusive-jim-jordan-their-goal-was-to-go-after-parents-as-nadler-kills-effort-to-subpoena-nsba-biden-admin-over-domestic-terrorist-letter\/\">explained<\/a> to Breitbart News that the tactic of developing a pretext to use federal resources to go after political opponents is not new.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think you got to view the letter from the School Board Association in the same context as the dossier and the Trump-Russia investigation,\u201d Jordan said in December. \u201cJim Comey wanted, and the Obama FBI and Justice Department, wanted to go after President Trump, they wanted to spy on President Trump. But they needed an excuse, and the excuse became, \u2018Oh, there\u2019s a dossier.\u2019 Jim Comey sees this, knows it\u2019s garbage, but he goes and flies up to Trump Tower in January, early January of 2017, before President Trump\u2019s even been sworn in, and gives him a briefing on the dossier because they want to use that.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cSo they needed a catalyst to do what they wanted to do,\u201d Jordan concluded. \u201cIt\u2019s a template that we see being used, and it\u2019s exactly the template that was used here.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBecause of the NSBA\u2019s letter to President Biden,\u201d Jordan\u2019s letter states, \u201cthe FBI is using federal counterterrorism tools to track and categorize an unknown number of American parents simply for standing up at school board meetings to advocate for their children\u2019s future.\u201d<\/p>\n<div class=\"c-message_kit__gutter\">\n<div class=\"c-message_kit__gutter__right\" role=\"presentation\" data-qa=\"message_content\">\n<div class=\"c-message_kit__blocks c-message_kit__blocks--rich_text\">\n<div class=\"c-message__message_blocks c-message__message_blocks--rich_text\">\n<div class=\"p-block_kit_renderer\" data-qa=\"block-kit-renderer\">\n<div class=\"p-block_kit_renderer__block_wrapper p-block_kit_renderer__block_wrapper--first\">\n<div class=\"p-rich_text_block\" dir=\"auto\">\n<p>Jordan wrote that he has thus far \u201creceived absolutely no response\u201d from the NSBA regarding the origins of the letter.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>\u201cIt has been over four months since we first requested documents and information about the National School Boards Association\u2019s (NSBA) letter to President Biden in which the NSBA equated parents with domestic terrorists and urged federal intervention\u2014including use of the Patriot Act\u2014to silence parents at school board meetings,\u201d Jordan points out in the letter.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMoms and dads deserve answers,\u201d Jordan told Breitbart News on Wednesday. \u201cWe\u2019ve been asking for documents for months and we still have nothing from the NSBA. It\u2019s beyond time for accountability.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDespite new CEO John Heim\u2019s effort to rehabilitate the NSBA\u2019s image and \u2018restore trust\u2019 in the association, you have still failed to produce a single document responsive to our requests,\u201d Jordan continues in the letter, while pointing out that much of the known information came from a \u201cbrave\u201d FBI whistleblower who revealed the creation of \u201cthreat tag\u201d \u201cEDUOFFICIAL\u201d to \u201ctrack school board-related investigations.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B3\" class=\"a8d adSo\"><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cParents have an undisputed right to direct the upbringing and education of their children, including expressing concerns about the inclusion of controversial curricula in their child\u2019s education,\u201d Jordan\u2019s letter asserts. \u201cWe are committed to fully examining the Biden Administration\u2019s use of counterterrorism resources in relation to school board meetings at the urging of the NSBA.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The letter calls on the NSBA to \u201cimmediately\u201d produce the requested material.<\/p>\n<p>The NSBA did not respond to a request for comment from Breitbart News.<\/p>\n<p>As Breitbart News previously reported, the NSBA sent a letter to the Biden administration asking it to investigate parents as \u201cdomestic terrorists.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Shortly thereafter, Attorney General Merrick Garland\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/politics\/2021\/10\/21\/ag-merrick-garland-admits-he-took-word-of-national-school-boards-association-to-target-parents-as-domestic-terrorists\/\">directed<\/a>\u00a0the FBI to look into parents \u2014 but maintained that parents would not be treated as \u201cdomestic terrorists.\u201d Despite that, a whistleblower revealed the FBI was, in fact,\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.breitbart.com\/education\/2021\/11\/16\/house-republicans-reveal-whistleblower-documents-exposing-fbi-use-of-counterterrorism-tactics-against-parents\/\">using<\/a>\u00a0\u201ccounterterrorism tools\u201d to look into parents concerned about their children\u2019s educations.<\/p>\n<p>House Judiciary Committee Chairman Rep.
