The SEC had <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cnbc.com\/2018\/09\/27\/tesla-falls-4percent-on-report-elon-musk-sued-by-sec.html\">accused Musk of fraud<\/a> for allegedly making &#8220;false and misleading&#8221; statements and failing to notify regulators of material events.
