A gas station in Florida I stopped at last month had two \u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/www.etsy.com\/listing\/1102472142\/biden-harris-gas-pump-decal-16-pack-gas?gpla=1&#038;gao=1&#038;&#038;utm_source=google&#038;utm_medium=cpc&#038;utm_campaign=shopping_us_a-paper_and_party_supplies-paper-stickers_labels_and_tags-other&#038;utm_custom1=_k_Cj0KCQiAmpyRBhC-ARIsABs2EAqba6ddxJL9q-KSCC_PbD24KwD6_yM5n_vSoKZDHQO68XImsFk8UroaAvQoEALw_wcB_k_&#038;utm_content=go_304502435_22746037595_78727268195_pla-316241129264_c__1102472142_539651356&#038;utm_custom2=304502435&#038;gclid=Cj0KCQiAmpyRBhC-ARIsABs2EAqba6ddxJL9q-KSCC_PbD24KwD6_yM5n_vSoKZDHQO68XImsFk8UroaAvQoEALw_wcB\">I did that<\/a>\u201d stickers on it. After someone had apparently tried to rip them off, someone else took a blue ballpoint pen and scrawled \u201cFJB\u201d on the front of the gas pump. Similar stickers have popped up in growing numbers all around the country.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"><\/figure>\n<p>It\u2019s obvious to everyone paying attention (except for Biden and his corporate media comms shop\u2026 but that\u2019s redundant) that the Democrat administration\u2019s policies, not just the Russians, are to blame for rising prices at the pump. The third week of February, before the Russian invasion of Ukraine started, the average price of U.S. gas was $3.53 per gallon, compared with $2.38 the week Biden took office: a <a href=\"https:\/\/www.eia.gov\/dnav\/pet\/hist\/LeafHandler.ashx?n=PET&#038;s=EMM_EPMR_PTE_NUS_DPG&#038;f=W\">$1.15 difference<\/a>. (That fact hasn\u2019t stopped Press Secretary Jen Psaki from lying through her teeth to <a href=\"https:\/\/thefederalist.com\/2022\/03\/07\/jen-psaki-is-a-lying-liar-who-lies-insane-gas-prices-edition\/\">blame<\/a> the spike entirely on Russia.)<\/p>\n<p>But, bumbling though they are, the Biden administration did not just achieve rising gas prices through accidents and incompetence. Your pain at the pump isn\u2019t just unforeseen collateral damage of the White House\u2019s policies \u2014 it\u2019s a very intentional result of it.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s right: Biden <em>wants<\/em> staggering gas prices to force you from being able to drive where you want, when you want, as much as you want to. It\u2019s all a part of his green energy agenda, which panders to radicals on the far-left side of Biden\u2019s ever-further-left party.<\/p>\n<p>A video from Americans for Tax Reform shows Biden at a campaign rally <a href=\"https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=O_2e8WH_1yU\">pledging<\/a>, \u201cWe are gonna get rid of fossil fuels.\u201d Asked \u201cwould there be any place for fossil fuels, including coal and fracking, in a Biden administration?\u201d by CNN\u2019s Dana Bash during one of the Democratic primary debates in 2019, Biden <a href=\"https:\/\/transcripts.cnn.com\/show\/se\/date\/2019-07-31\/segment\/02\">responded<\/a> \u201cNo.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe would \u2014 we would work it out,\u201d he continued. \u201cWe would make sure it\u2019s eliminated and no more subsidies for either one of those, either \u2014 any fossil fuel.\u201d <em>Eliminated<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>In the same debate and at many other moments, Biden has made clear his desire for the United States to erase gas-driven cars for electric vehicles. \u201cMy plan calls for 500,000 charging stations around the country so by 2030 we\u2019re all electric vehicles,\u201d he said at the time (a plan he\u2019s unlikely to reach in the next eight years). If they want to get rid of your car, don\u2019t think they wouldn\u2019t start by trying to squeeze your gas tank dry.<\/p>\n<p>When Biden\u2019s damage control team has tried to soften his anti-oil remarks, even leftists can see through it. \u201cOf course Biden meant what he said about fossil fuels. There is a price to fighting climate change,\u201d <a href=\"https:\/\/www.washingtonpost.com\/opinions\/2020\/10\/23\/course-biden-meant-what-he-said-about-fossil-fuels-there-is-price-fighting-climate-change\/\">headlined<\/a> an op-ed in the Washington Post in October 2020.<\/p>\n<p>His actions have backed that agenda up, too, from canceling the Keystone XL pipeline to suspending new drillings on federal lands to moving us away from the energy <a href=\"https:\/\/www.forbes.com\/sites\/rrapier\/2022\/03\/08\/surprise-the-us-is-still-energy-independent\/?sh=3f6482e30b66\">independence<\/a> the U.S. established under former president Trump. Imagine all the heavy-duty vehicles that keep our supply lines strong and allow our economy to grow.
