The lawyers being singled out by the group have all <a href=\"https:\/\/thepostmillennial.com\/trump-lawyers-allege-massive-fraud-in-major-press-conference\">worked in the past on lawsuits seeking to overturn the Nov. 2020 presidential elections.<\/a> <\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section data-v-123b907a=\"\">\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.axios.com\/trump-election-lawyers-disbar-5c2b9252-d15d-495f-a759-2446d9fa62e8.html\">According to <em>Axios<\/em><\/a><em>, <\/em>the group &#8220;hopes to deter right-wing legal talent from signing on to any future GOP efforts to overturn elections \u2014 including the midterms or 2024.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section data-v-123b907a=\"\"><\/section>\n<section data-v-123b907a=\"\">\n<p>The project&#8217;s advisory board includes Tom Daschle (D-SD), a former Senate Majority Leader, Christine Durham, a former Chief Justice of the Utah Supreme Court, and Roberta Ramo, an ex-president of the American Bar Association. <\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section data-v-123b907a=\"\">\n<p>The &#8220;65 Project,&#8221; Axios reports, was founded by Melissa Moss, who served as a senior official under the Clinton administration, and as a consultant for the Democratic party since. <\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section data-v-123b907a=\"\">\n<p>Some 111 lawyers are being targeted, in 26 different US states. The project aims to push for specific rules against what they deem to be &#8220;fraudulent and malicious lawsuits to overturn legitimate election results&#8221; to be enacted by all state bar associations.<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section data-v-123b907a=\"\">\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/thepostmillennial.com\/breaking-lincoln-project-doxxes-two-trump-lawyers-vows-to-dox-their-clients-too?fbclid=IwAR1OCvkhX8fgFQAIecULmKrq5w0FxbArYDM7Aub15zV-iltWmfhs4INn5as\">Lawyers potentially being singled out<\/a> by this organization have said that these actions are purely partisan and political in nature. <\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section data-v-123b907a=\"\">\n<p>Paul Davis, a Texas lawyer targeted by the project because of his <a href=\"https:\/\/thepostmillennial.com\/jan-6-committee-releases-private-messages-that-undermine-their-case\">attendance at the Capitol on Jan. 6 2021<\/a>, commented that the project simply aims &#8220;to neutralize anyone on the right with the ability to stand in the way of the left&#8217;s efforts to hide malfeasance in the 2020 elections and to clear the path for a repeat of similar malfeasance in the 2022 mid-terms.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/section>\n<section data-v-123b907a=\"\">\n<p>Davis also said that, in his opinion, &#8220;this move is nothing more than a desperate attempt by leftist hacks and mercenaries.&#8221; <\/p>\n<\/section>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A group known as the &#8220;65 Project&#8221; has announced that it plans to seek action against over 100 lawyers of the Trump legal team in the near future.
