Americans should be able to expect that the schools to which they send their children aren’t indoctrination centers dominated by special interests—but they can’t.”

Shapiro made his name writing books about political indoctrination in colleges. In the years since, it has become increasingly clear that the problem starts much earlier — in public schools occupied by people far more impressionable than college-age adults, funded by our taxes, and where, unlike college, everyone must attend.

Shapiro’s Daily Wire has been on the forefront of documenting the many problems of K-12 schools at the 13,000 school districts across the country, one story at a time. Now, Rosiak’s book takes a step back to examine K-12 schools in totality, as Shapiro’s early works did for colleges.

The book (which is published by HarperCollins) comes as Shapiro has underscored The Daily Wire’s growing investigative prowess, a trend he says is still in progress. “Imagine if we had 10 ‘Luke Rosiaks’ hunting down and exposing the truth. Or 20! It is vital that we build up our investigative team, and do so quickly,” he wrote shortly after Rosiak broke the Loudoun County, Virginia, bathroom rape story.

The Daily Wire is one of America’s fastest-growing conservative media companies and counter-cultural outlets for news, opinion, and entertainment.
