Good day. I am not saying anything.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYes, we are all at a loss for words now,\u201d the host agreed, asking, \u201cAre stock market strategies outdated now, or do you still hope to remain in the profession?\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWorst case scenario, I\u2019m going to work as Santa Claus, as I did 25 years ago,\u201d Butmanov replied.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut that\u2019s only once a year,\u201d Tikhonova pressed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cExcluding jokes, let\u2019s do this quickly,\u201d Butmanov continued, ducking out of frame only to return a moment later with a green glass bottle. \u201cI send regards to Sergei Usychenko, who drank 12, 13 years ago to the death of the stock market.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cToday, I\u2019m drinking carbonated water,\u201d he announced, opening the bottle. \u201cDear Stock Market, you were close to us, you were interesting. Rest In Peace, dear Comrade.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Butmanov proceeded to drink from the bottle, prompting the host to raise her eyebrows.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m not going to comment on this stunt because I don\u2019t want to believe it,\u201d Tikhonova said.<\/p>\n<p>Russia\u2019s national stock market is struggling under the weight of <a href=\"https:\/\/dailywire.com\/news\/quit-pussy-footing-around-tom-cotton-blasts-biden-administrations-weak-sanctions-on-ruthless-dictator-putin\/\">sanctions<\/a> imposed primarily in financial sectors against Russian banks and other financial institutions, all resulting from the ongoing <a href=\"https:\/\/dailywire.com\/news\/how-can-you-defend-them-stephanopoulos-grills-russian-foreign-minister-over-kremlins-lies-attacks-on-ukrainian-civilians\/\">Russian invasion<\/a> of Ukraine.<\/p>\n<p>As Business Insider <a href=\"https:\/\/markets.businessinsider.com\/news\/stocks\/russia-stocks-plunge-ukraine-conflict-sberbank-gazprom-lukoil-sanctions-economy-2022-3\">reported<\/a>:<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p><em>Russia\u2019s biggest bank plunged as much as 95% on the London stock exchange Wednesday and other companies crashed by similar amounts as the war in Ukraine and ensuing sanctions caused investors to dump the country\u2019s assets.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><a href=\"https:\/\/www.londonstockexchange.com\/stock\/SBER\/sberbank-of-russia\/company-page\" data-analytics-module=\"body_link\" data-analytics-post-depth=\"40\" data-uri=\"0d3a32a0d76df42246db041a3d15f292\">Sberbank<\/a>, which has more than 135 million customers, plunged to as low as $0.01 Wednesday morning, having stood at $16.12 at the start of the year. The company\u2019s depository receipts \u2014 certificates representing shares \u2014 are listed in London, although its main listing is in Moscow.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>The lender said Wednesday that it had decided to withdraw from the non-Russian European market after facing \u201can exceptional outflow of funds.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<p>Additional sanctions could <a href=\"https:\/\/dailywire.com\/news\/russian-billionaire-puts-chelsea-football-club-up-for-sale-as-sanctions-questions-swirl\/\">target assets<\/a> owned by those who reportedly have close ties to Russian President Vladimir Putin, including real estate, yachts, and other high-dollar items.
