You\u2019re not supposed to expose them.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure id=\"M-ROS-B2\" class=\"a8d\"><\/figure>\n<p>Breitbart led the charge on setting news media narratives as opposed to simply reacting to the left, O\u2019Keefe stated.<\/p>\n<p>He said, \u201cI think that exposing them is what they really fear. Exposing the bad guys out there is what matters. It\u2019s what\u2019s important, and another thing Andrew really knew very, very well was the importance of narrative and the importance of story. You\u2019re breaking news and you\u2019re watching it grow.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He continued, \u201cA lot of people on the right tend to react to what they do, sort of like if the left or the liberals \u2014 the liberal media \u2014 didn\u2019t do anything bad, they\u2019d just sit on their hands and knees and wait for them to do something bad to react to it. And it\u2019s the idea of sort of going out there and \u2014 figuratively speaking \u2014 drawing blood via narrative. He emphasized the public need for access to information.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s become like a clich\u00e9, a trite thing, \u2018politics is downstream from culture,\u2019 everyone says that,\u201d he remarked. \u201cI don\u2019t know if anyone said that before [Breitbart] did \u2014 and culture is downstream from information, and he understood that in a profound way.
